"Complaint regarding defecting handset"
I am Anupam Mukherjee from 10-Lalgarh Colony, Dumdum, Kolkata-30, Mobile no.- +91 [protected] bought a Nokia 3110 Classic handset on 6th August 2009.The IMEI No. of the set is [protected]. Within 5 months of purchasing it was found blinking when the set going to switched on. Thereafter, I submitted the handset to various Nokia Care 4 times for the same issue. Again on 8th April I need to submit it for the 5th time and for the same reason to CRAZY INFOVISION, 83 Golaghata Road, V.I.P. Tower, Kolkata-700048(Nokia Care). The Job Sheet no. is[protected]/100408/8. This time also the Nokia Care wants to reinstall the software. If we get such kind of service from a reputed company like Nokia it is really hopeless. So, I need to draw your kind attention in this regard and want a newly replaced handset.
Please look into the matter.
Thank you.

Nokia / Mobile Phone — deffective phone

Dear Madam/Sir,
I had purchased Nokia phone IMEI Number - [protected], Model No. 2600c-2 from the vendor Touch & Talk, Bhopal, India in April 2008. Since beginning, the phone had automatic switching problem and it was informed to the vendor but it told that there is some problem in Sim. But the Sim was working (even now it is working, you may call me at the same Number 91 - 0 - [protected]). Then it was informed that the battery may be having problem.
Finally on Sept 17th, 2008 the phone again switched off but this time it was not switching ON and went to the same vendor, who suggested that there seems to be some Software problem and I should take it to Nokia Care centre.
I deposited the set phone at Nokia Care centre, Sameer Music, Bhopal, India with Job Sheet Number[protected]/080919/42 on 19/Sept/2008. The phone was perfectly intact and it was opened by the Sameer Music centre staff in my presence and was found to be fit case for "Warranty Repair".

I contacted the care centre many a times and on 23/Sept/2008 I was informed that the phone has been sent to Main Repair Centre at GTB Towers in Bhopal as they were not able to rectify it.
I contacted Nokia through Feedback mail two times the same week but did not Receive any response.
I called up at Nokia Customer care at contact No.[protected] the same week and was informed that the phone is under repair and will be rectified and handed over to me within week.
Since I did not receive any call from Sameer Music, and also there was no response from their contact number[protected], I called up Nokia Customer care at contact No.[protected] on 1/Oct/2008 (Complained No. 23E8AJ7) and I was informed that the phone is still under repair. I had shown my concern over phone in delay in rectifying the phone which was right from
the beginning a defective product.
I again called up Nokia Care Centre, Sameer Music on 2/Oct/2008 and I was informed that the phone is now rectified and I can collect the same from their place.
I went to collect the phone at Sameer Music Nokia Care centre on 2/Oct/2008 itself and after waiting for 25 Minutes I was called inside and was asked to return the customer copy of SERVICE JOB SHEET and was informed that the
phone could not be rectified and there was moisture found inside. I requested to provide the thing in writing. But they refused to give this in writing and instead they tried to force me return back them the customer copy of SERVICE JOB SHEET.
They did not hand over me the phone.
It is clearly mentioned in the SERVICE JOB SHEET that the phone was covered under the Job Warranty as they were was nothing wrong with the set including any trace of moisture.
Whatever is being said now is incorrect and my contention is that the set was having problem right from the day one and thus it was a defective product well covered under warranty period and it should have been Immediately replaced by the Vendor / care centre.
I am very much frustrated form such a behavior of a Global Firm like NOKIA and its partners.
Nokia 2600 c is having lots of problems. The Nokia vendors and its care centre are just not concerned about the genuine customer problems on account of defective products.
The company must take note of all these complaints and address each one of them as a socially responsible company.
Hoe Nokia is listening !
i gave my nokia 5610 XpressMusic for repair to this service centre...first they said it'll take rs.100 for repair...but when i went 2 take my phone bak...they're charging me rs.450...they are not giving it bak untill i pay the money...i had to give the money at last...
what d f is dis?
