[Resolved]  Nokia Mobiles — Battery Backup Problem

Dear Sir/Ma’am,





I have purchased a NOKIA handset No. 2690. This model of IMEI No. [protected], Bill No. 9237, dated 25/10/2010, from S. G. Electronics, Chittorgarh. The battery no. was[protected]P[protected] this.



I found a terrible problem with it’s from very first day the problem is your one of the USP for which I proffered NOKIA for last 7 years. The problem is with its battery backup. It is impossible to talk continue more than 1 hr. 15 min, because it get shutdown due to battery discharge after getting it full recharge.



However I thought there may be some problem with this hand set as a loyal customer I went to the shopkeeper to get solution. He suggests me to change my battery, and I have done that my old battery no was[protected]P[protected] and new one is[protected]Q[protected] but I did not get solution. And still facing same problem.



Than shopkeeper told me to go and contact at NOKIA CARE. As this was my first visit to there I went there in hope of the solution at NOKIA CARE chittorgarh. There they told that this may be due to software problem and need to format the handset. I gave my mobile them for two days. And when I got that we the assurance that the problem is solved I start using that but that surprised me more that the problem never solved.



That I talk at NOKIA customer CARE and they told me to give my mobile to your center for sending it to Delhi for getting solution.



I went there and give my mobile. They told me that they will recheck it if its battery problem than they will change my battery and call me back in two working days or else it will be send to Delhi and will be back in around 20 days. I provided my number to them. But I went after 20 days yesterday, because I dint get call from your end I thought it is not battery problem it is being send to Delhi.



I got horrified that there is a battery problem and battery needs to change. But relay salute to your customer service, those most busy people of NOKIA CARE dint bothered to call me and my handset lying with them for more than 40 days. Even after that they asked to wait for more 20 days because of non availability of desired battery. And I was without my hand set for more than 20 days and if you can understand than you can think that it is not possible even one single hr without a mobile.



And when I asked about dint getting call the busiest person of NOKIA CARE told me we have lot of customers so we can not bothered over self to call every one, even after we assured of call you should come and asked because they was busy.



They gave me the my handset and taken back the receipt slip and told to call or come to there after 2o days if I want new battery and if it reached to them than thy will replace.



I surprised with answer that we can not able to call or it’s your policy not to call customer than why you asked for contact number (why, or it is due to that I am girl).



I am surprised how you can play with your USP. I really suggest you if you can not handle the customer than please please it is my humble request to your management not to increase such a number of customers which you can not able to handle and you can not serve because you will lose your existing customer.



And there is one more thing that my handset’s battery’s warranty is going to expired very soon than I think I have to stay with that 1hr backup handset which is claimed to be more than 4 hr talk time as battery backup.



This mail is only in a slight hope that may be I will get a perfect solution for a small assured and warranted problem. And I marked hope and that is also very slight because you have to serve lot of people and your whole team is very busy to bother to solve problem of a customer who have purchased a cheap phone 2690 which is presented by symbol of proud having it.



Or else you want to convert your NOKIA to NO – KIA.



I think it will help some one because I did not think I will get solution as you will get very easy answer for this problem very soon and your answer will be warranty expired.

nokia cell phone battery — non availability of battery

I am prabal sarkar from Mumbai. I bought nokia E62 3.5years back. Now my battery is not working properly. I have to change it. but to my utter surprise i am not getting the battery for thiis model. can you help me out? All the dealr of nokia priority are saying this is obsolute model.
