Navi Mumbai. Respected Sir, This is the 3rd instance of me sending this Nokia n82 at your service center to get rid of the below mentioned problems. I don’t think that the software update performed last time did any good. It’s becoming real painful for me to manage my day to day activities with a cell which is working as awfully as this one is. Kindly help me get rid of these problems! In our family we prefer buying nokia due to its customer service quality. Kindly keep our trust in you. Problems faced: • Battery still dies prematurely. • Cell phone restarts with white screen. • Cell phone hangs with a white screen and works only after removal of the battery. • Cell phone becomes too hot even in call duration of less than 10 minutes that too in a well networked zone. • Frequent call drops. • Wi-Fi auto disconnects. Wi-Fi connectivity process is very time consuming. • GPS takes too much time to connect with the satellite compared to my other 5800 that also with AGPS turned on • Bluetooth looses strength too easily and auto disconnects similar to Wi-Fi connection. • Buttons stop responding and works only after removing battery and restarting the phone. • Sound from the earpiece of the instrument has degraded. Sound is just not audible enough. It makes it necessary for me to turn up the volume to the fullest to hear what I used to hear in middle volume bars before. Dinesh Malhotra 3rd time N82 submission for same problems. After Giving my Nokia N82 for around 11days @ nokia care Vashi, I am still not satisfied with the repair it has gone through. Many of the problems that I had mentioned still exist along with few new ones! • Battery still dies very fast. Sometimes it shows the battery full for few hours and then suddenly it shows that battery is empty asking for a battery recharge. • Sound of the earpiece is still not audible enough. I have to UPP the volume full to have even a slightest audibility of the sound of the person I am speaking with. • WI-FI connectivity is still an issue. Although it finds the WI-Lan connections available, it just does not connect. • Call drops and repetitive network errors are still persistent. • Hangs with total black and white screen making it compulsory for me to restart via battery removal process. • Buttons stop responding especially number 5 and 0 and 3 • Calling via call log or contacts not working after usage of cell phone for like 2-4hrs, works only after cell restart. Nokia N82 Big Problem
The phone just hangs with a white screen, restarts itself. So i give my nokia to NOKIA CARE it took about 2 weeks to get back, with a dust in th camera lens inside. So i complained again about to NOKIA CARE, they just cleaned the lens with the fingers and still it contains the finger marks on lens. Again after a week same problem again i repaired in NOKIA CARE it took about a week. Then again it had the same problem again i given it to another NOKIA CARE in the city. They sent my phone to main NOKIA service center. I got back the phone in a bad quality with all repair marks on phone it was really in bad condition, but it was working. And now the same problem is occuring to my phone, and my warranty period is over. Now i must spend all my expenses from my pocket am really frustrated. I lost trust in NOKIA. Later i found that problem is not due to the Memory card, its because N82 body is very weak i[censored] press a particular side near memory card it will get stuck. So dont buy NOKIA phones. Try any other phone.
NOKIA is now creating new technological advance phone but they are made of poor quality. Usually new phones N95 have very poor body it woombles. So next time when u go for NOKIA do check the body. IF its a woombling body dont buy.

I ordered a nokia n8 which arrived on time. the phone will not switch on. will not power up. has no light when trying to charge. it is a week now since i first reported this to nokia, and has cost a fortune to keep phoneing them and holding on while being transfered from one dept to another, and being told i would have to pay for sending it back. and i would have to check the warranty, and that any calls i had made would have to be paid for. THIS IS A BRAND NEW N8 THAT WONT SWITCH ON. I THINK IT SHOULD STILL BE IN WARRANTY AND NO I HAVE NOT MADE ANY CALLS BECAUSE ...I CANT SWITCH IT ON!!!

Nokia — Shoddy service
When my phone was on warranty period, it had a problem of getting hung. After i gave it for servicing at an authorised nokia care centre the executive assured me it will not happen again. Now again the problem is recurring and Nokia care wants to charge me for the service, and also for inspection. is it not unethical to do business like this?
