[Resolved] Regional Passport Office, Chandigarh — Non- receipt of the Passport

This is in reference to the renewal of my passport. I had personally submitted my passport application on January 15, 2008 at the above office. My File Number is - F000488. It has been now over 5 months and I have not received my passport. Since last one month the online update is mentioning that It is to regret that DUE TO UNAVOIDABLE CIRCUMSTANCES THE DISPATCH OF PASSPORT HAS BEEN DELAYED AND WILL NOW BE DISPATCHED IN A WEEK'S TIME. But I have not received my passport till now. My Polica verification has been completed and before the above message started appearing the online status was that YOUR PASSPORT IS READY FOR DISPATCH. I have been continuously sending mails to passport Authorities for expediting the process but till now no one has given me any satisfactory reply. Consequences: I was to travel UK & Malaysia on a company sponsored trip, which, now has been cancelled because of non-receipt of my passport. Was this information helpful? No (0) Yes (0)

sir,
I applied for passport on dt. 16.11.2009 vide your receipt no. [protected], file referance no. CHD F023493 09. The passport is still awaited. I checked the status for may time on the website of your office. There is the same reason written there i.e. "It is to regret that due to unavoidable circumstances the despatch of Passport has been delayed and will now be despatched in a week's time". This reason is there about for two & halh months.You are requested to please look into the matter & inform about the present situation

Passport Office Dispatch — Non Receipt of Passport

Dear Sir / Mam

This is with reference to my passport dispatched on[protected] vice speed post no D001684
I am not able to track my passport with this no. the dispatch no id mentioned on the website and i am running to get the correct no of the dispatch.

today is the fifth day of dspatch amd i am still to receive my passport .

Not able to understand from Patna to Bhagalpur how many days are taken for the services to reach

Dear Sir,

I had applied for renewal of my Passport and my file Number is CH[protected], dated 04/06/2012. Since almost about one year has elapsed I have not received my passport. I am in constant touch with the passport authorities but I have not been provided with the satisfactory reply or the reason for the delay in issuance of my passport. Sir, I fail to understand that in these days of such a technical advancement and the tall claims made by the passport authorities for expeditious issuance passport as to why for almost one year I have not been issued Passport.

Kindly see that passport is issued without any further delay.
