We gave the contract to build our office to S.P.S Oberoi at Office Equipment F-28 Hauz Khas Enclave, New Delhi-110016 , India.
He comes across as a dedicated man & convinced us that he is totally commited to his work, gave us a very nice presentation showed us images which he claimed was his work which impressed us & we gave him the contract.

When the work started there were several issues & the material being used was not what was promised & whenever we complained to him he promised that its his responsibility & he will make sure that everything is as he has promised,

We had agreed to pay him in 3 installments with the 3rd one due once the project is nearing completion but he come up with some sob stories & we paid him 3rd installment earlier which was a big mistake after that we started felling something fishy when his guys were not putting POP on the walls but only Putty when we insisted that it was written in the contract & we are paying for POP we will not accept anything less then that. he tried to convince us that both are the same thing which we did not agree.

We had an argument & he gave us in written the dates by which the project will be over but once he left the premises he pulled his guys & started insisting that we pay the 10% amount which is due at the end of project which we refused. My office is calling him regularly but no success. We are asking him to atleast finish the job equivalent to the money he has taken but he is not ready to listen. He has left project midway & we will have to find other contractor to finish his job.

I have read several other complaints about this guy on the net & am sure that there would be plenty others who have not reported the matter. We are taking legal action against him now.
