I feel they are the worst gas distributing service in Chennai, you have to revisit there shop at least four to five times after booking since they do not pick up the phone.
Is there any other distributor for Bharat gas for Chitlapakkam area.
Can anybody help in this

Padmavathy Gas Agency is the worst gas agency, I have ever seen. They are not at all picking the phones or the phone will be ringing.
Everytime you need to go there and request for a refill. This should be taken serious action.

sir,
i am one of the customers of m/s.padmavathy gas agency, selaiyur, tambaram-chennai.
they are having three phone numbers ( 044-22275055, 22272044, 22271055) for their customer to book gas cylinder.
whenever we try to book cylinder by phone, above mentioned numbers are always busy.
i came to know that they have kept away receivers of those phones.
they are giving more priority to black market.
owner of the agency themself doing black business in and around tambaram locality.
please take immediate action.

padmavathy gas agency services veru worst service I booked sep 09 gas still not yet delivery my house. on daily I asked by phone today [or] tomorrow still now I am not get the cylinder. when ever I make a phone call busy.

We face the same problem.
Once we expressed the concern (to selaiyur agency) about not picking up the phone. They says they are busy with lot os customer calls and each customer has to face the problem.
After several phone trials, once my father-in-law directly visited agency and tried to call those numbers directly from there. It was suprising, they have some internal mechanism set in such a way that the system(all the numbers) even if not picked up gives the busy messages - strange. He questioned them the same and about their fraud service, out of fear of Consumer court they provide the stock then and their itself.
All this points out that their are giving priorty to sell the goods for more amount to non-subscribers.
Each affected can file a case in Consumer court, then only they will learn a lesson. When the court charges them with lumb amount as fine for doing fraud and making the consumer suffer each time.

I also face the same problem. I get fed up with this agency. I also try a lot to these numbers. I am trying out the online booking this time. Let me try my fate this time. B'coz luckily i got the call booked on 1st december but till now (29th december) i have not received the gas. Whenever they pick the phone they say you will receive today. For these people never comes today and tommorrow. I think only the consumer court can solve this problem.

I HAVE TWO CYLYNDERS, IAM USING ONE BY ONE.GAS AGENCY IS ASKING TO BOOK THE GAS 21 DAYS AFTER THE DELIVERY DATE.WHEN IT IS BOOKED IT IS DELIVERED ONLY AFTER 20 DAYS FROM THE BOOKING DATE.BUT THE GAS CYLINDER GETS OVER WITHIN 25 DAYS, WHERE THERE IS A 15 DAYS LAG BETWEEN BOOKING DATE AND DELIVERY DATE.THE DELIVERY MAN REPLY IS VERY RUDE AND HARSH AND ASKING FOR BRIBE. my consumer no is 11887 .
10/4 balaji avenue main line chitlapkkam extn, selaiyur post east tambaram chennai-73.
1. They are not at all picking the call. Almost the phone is engaged. if it is ringging they are not at all picking the call .
2. After delivering the gas . they have asked us to book after 21 days. even though we are booking after 21 days they are telling that they will bring the gas after 10 days.
3. i registerd my gas in 26th december 2009. and i have asked my priority number they are not giving that.
4. Response from people at counter is very horrible.

PADMAVATHY GAS AGENCY is the worst of worst in chennai. I didn't experience such delays when I was in nungambakkam, But, after moving to Vandalur, we are having lots of problems with Gas booking and Delivery.
1) They will never pick up their calls, if connected luckily, they will behave rude and make your day!!
2) If you book order through online booking, they will say online booking will not work with their Agency, (Are they in Alien Space??)
3) They sell your gas cylinder to commercial purpose for higher price.
4) Suppose, if you got gas delivery, you have to bribe the delivery guys.
BPCL has to cancel this "PADMAVATHY Agency Dealership".
But, I highly doubt the Govt's efficiency as they only known for corruption.

I have been a customer of BPCL gas for the last 5 years in shenoy nagar and we have had prompt service, i shifted to medavakkam one year back and its been a harrowing experience dealing with the gas agancy- padmavathy. Pathetic attitude, no response on phone...too much of delay in delivery.
they are servicing a huge area and they are inefficient to handle the same. for every delivery we have to call them 4-5 times.
And finally they tell to come and take the gas from kalyana mandapam ( who's job is it to deliver gas)
My last booking took 24 days for delivery after calling 8 times, when i screamed at them.. they say thier owner is a MLA... had to tell them so what..and deliver the gas
They are inefficient spoiling the name of BPCL, or the area incharge must be hand in hand else he cannot survive as an agency.
They are rotating the cylinders and making money highly fraudulent.

Padmavathy Bharat Gas Agency, Selaiyur, Chennai-600073 is the very worst agency in chennai. Don`t know how to behaviour towards the customer. I requested for an an additional cylinder. But for the past 2 years they are telling as after 2 months, after 2 months and so on. Till I didnt receive the additional. But now they forcing me to buy Rs.2500 worth of items to get the additionl cylinder.This is rediculas.
Also when we book for cylinder we will receive with the follow up call for 15 or 20 times.
