[Resolved]  Peps India — Faulty peps mattress

I purchased a Peps Restonic (luminous) end of February, I started using it in March end. We started getting problem in May. After repeated complaints to the dealer, the company representative visited us in July and suggested to turn the mattress. We still got problems and chased the company executive in August /September/ October.

Now, despite the fact that a government approved doctor states that the back problem started due to the mattress, the company is charging me to replace the mattress. For some icing on the cake, the company executive does not agree that the mattress has a problem.

I have another peps mattress, that I am now sleeping on, which is perfectly fine and which helped in recovery from back pain. But the faulty mattress, has become a real hassle as we cannot store and we cannot through it (unlike US where trash bins are larger and parked outside)

I requested the executives to take it back and I need no refund or replacement, they do not agree, they want to give replacement and charge me for that. The dealer has given me a certain discount on the product and the company is charging me the MRP. They executive justifies it by saying that the company will not bear any cost, that has to be paid by the customer. So the company covers all the expenses in the discount, that should have been offered to the customer.

Now, in this entire story where does customer service come into play.

I have written 10 times to the GM Operations, he does not respond. I have also brought this to Mr Madhavan's (Managing Director) attention but there has been no response.

The mattress was replaced, I paid the freight cost and the difference amount but the mattress that was replaced did not last more than a year and had to be discarded. I didn't even bother to chase the service people this time. I switched over to the other renowned brand, wouldn't want to promote the other brand but PEPS needs to do a lot about the service. I was called by the local representative to withdraw this complaint online but I didn't as I wanted to experience the new product before I can withdraw.

They have no values for their customers just after you make payment for the product.
The First thing we can do as a unit is to stop buying from peps brand until all registered complaints on popular consumer forums are marked resolved.
I am also victim of Peps Mattress, Very cheap quality mattress cheating customers till they buy this product. No proper customer service.

Please never buy Peps Mattress.

I am also victim of Peps mattress ( Restronic brand). No Value to customer by company, Executive's or the dealers in Chennai in and around area, Not accepting bed poor quality, instead they are telling that you have back pain problems on your health.What Mr.Raghava earlier told is happened to me.

Please never think about Peps in the mattress category.

I am also victim of Peps mattress ( Restronic brand). I am from Delhi/NCR region and have been able to get the Warranty representatives number I.E. [protected] Mr.Yogender if we follow-up with him he can be of some help, please don't pay him if your product is under warranty, If anyone o[censored]s can get any help it would be great.

I bought a Peps restonic, Its feel like a metal beam at the middle of the bed. Its causing back pain, If I ask for service, they are saying its not a fault this model will be like that only we can't do anything . There is no use of having 10 years ofwarranty for that product, they will not do any service help to the customer. Very very very worst product.

Worst service EVER its when I have not even got the delivery of the product I am struggling even to get the Mattress I wish I could have read these reviews before... I think I made a right decision by cancelling it, here are what I faced from the time I ordered 1)False commitment booked on friday 19th morning, shopkeeper at BG Road said he doesnt have it but Domlur Branch (closer to the delivery address Old Madras Road)has it already and MAXIMUM by sunday it ll get delivered & took the advance knowing that we are shifting to a new house & we are relying on them for the mattress, I had been chasing and calling these people for reminder but in vain either they talk very unprofessionally & Rudely or phone is switched off 2) Customer service is pathetic, worst which I have ever seen, they will never call you back to update the status & when you complain they say you are being unprofessional & getting hyper unnecessarily & keep shouting at you saying i have been handling this business for 15 years there are 4 shops I handle & all that unnecessary stiff like a unprofessional 3) they dont have respect at all either for Customer or for Business I am surprised How company is letting such people run the show (I guess that is the reason so many complaints we see) 4) if delivery is so painful & unprofessional than one can imagine about after sale services 5) NO CONFIDENCE IN THE BRAND NOW TO PAY SUCH A PREMIUM PRICE FOR SUCH CUSTOMER SERVICE 6)after all this the shopkeeper asking me the address & says I was not aware of delivery location & keep blaming each other only HEIGHTS O[censored]NPROFESSIONALISM Dint you even see the bill where I have written the address in BLOCK Letters

i brought PEPS mattress in Nov 2016 and now it went of shape and if you sleep on the mattress, you will get feeling as if you were sleeping on hamak. PEPS india team is not responding properly even after providing 10 years of warranty and wants me to pay money for service. they are saying all spring mattress would be like this deal with it and there is not problem with the mattress. i am planning to file a case against them. i would suggest all PEPS customers who suffered should combined together and file a case. if you are interested please mail me at mraju.[protected]@gmail.com...
