[Resolved]  Nokia (5220 Music Express) — Continuous Software Problem from the of purchasing of Nokia 5220

Sir,
I am a working i a private company. I have Purchased latest model of nokia 5220 Music express on 10.09.2008, but from the date of purchasing i had lot of problems in my mobile. While playing the music player plays its hanged and then Automatically switched off and it restarts itself. and Even profile tones are changed automatically to default sometimes.I contact the Nokia Care at Fountain chowk, Ludhiana, they said the software has corrupted and same has to changed/updated. But after 10 days same problem starts continuing . Again i contacted Nokia Care at Sec-35, Chandigarh, They also said that it is software problem and changed the same, But agian the same problem started after span of 7-8 days. I am not satisfied with the product i purchased .so i kindly request you to replace the product.

Nokia — About restarting and also not supporting softwares

I bought my nokia 3110c mobile 50 days before. After 5th day fom the date of purchase i activated GPRS in my mobile . Its restarts automatically. i cannot able to stop the restarting. I take the memory card from the mobile it stops restarting. After few hours i insert the memory card its works properly. After 30th day from the date of purchase its automatically restarts again after taking my memory card also the restarts go on. I gave my mobile to nokia care center. They reinstalled the software and give it to me on that day onwards the .jar file is not working in my mobile and The restarts problem also continous.

The nokia company should take the and clear the problem.

Nokia — My music player has a problem

I have a nokia 3110c, 2 months old. After i update the music player, same songs are repeated many times. Eg: If song number 10 is xxxx, then even song 21 is also xxxx. some songs are repeated even 4-5 times. I am fed up. I formatted my memcard also. Still no use.
Plz...help me...

I read asnd understood your problem and firstly, I would suggest you to contact Nokia - India directly through its website- www.nokia.in and seek customer support. I personally own xpress music 5610 and the mobile just rocks and I have not discovered any problems with it till now.
Even if contacting Nokia Care does not help, you must go to your shopkeeper and if the WARRANTY PERIOD IS NOT OVER, YOU MAY GET A FREE REPLACEMENT OR REPAIRMENT FOR THE PHONE. For further help, mail to my email id and let me know if the warranty period is over or not?

recently i bought the nokia 5220 xpress music mobile, from the day of purchase i am facing lot of problems with the music player ie.. while using the player it will automatically hang out and it will starts after few sec, and also will showing the folders it wil not work accordingly ie.. FIles not support will be displayed for a moment then again it works..
before seeing it before it was launched i was eager to buy it but after buying it i am very disapppointed abt dis product, we told to dealer too to repalce the mobile so ...
kindly rectify my prob and provide me another one...

i have lot of problem with that

i have updated the software twice still no use.

Nokia Cell Phone 5220 — Phone Hang on very 1st day of Purchase

The Hand set was purchased from Mobile Store limited, 26/6 Dr. PT LAHA Street, Rishra/Hooghly on 21.11.08.

Within one hour the phone found to be hanged . We contacted the Mobile Store . The store had kept the mobile for one month to arrange required servicing from Nokia Centre. Ultimatly they had asked us for payment for repairing.

Why one should pay reparing charge after purchasing mobile within one hour.

Kindly look in to the matter . I am very much mentally disturbed and plan to take the matter with consumer court unless otherwise the complaint is not properly addressed.

mine too same problem in nokia 5220,
i m not getting even 50 activation codes to my phone.
even i called customer care more than 5 times...
very very poor response from Nokia Customer care...

i have also called up nokia customer care a number of times but everytime i get a new answer and those songs dont work i think i have spend more on that 50 songs are actually worth it ...

It is the major problem of new handsets from Nokia. I purchased 5610 Xpressmusic, it goes off frequently and restarts again. I called on the Nokia service, but they failed to do the fruitful.

I bought this fone (nokia music express 5220) on february 2. and just a couple of days ago the fone started hanging. and the theme went hay wire. the screen went blank for a moment then we tried to restore the theme especially the sound waves.nth we found out that most of the themes were corrupted. Next is that if you recieve a text message it will hang. then you have to turn it off then on again. Now just this morning the fone screen just went white, that even if you reboot (on the off) screen is still white. I was surprise that this things are happening. I never thought Nokia a big name in the industry, could let such product (express 5220) go in to the market without testing thier product. I dont know if I can still believe that thier product line goes into QA/QC. Since the 90s around 90 % of the fone i bought is Nokia (in keeping up with the latest fone model). I dont know if NOKIA is sensitive with the these complaints because they all ready got our money in exchange for this defective piece of equipment.My GOD, people really work hard for thier money. And buying this defective piece of equipment with ones hard earned money is so disgusting, its so unfair for the consumer. I just dont know if NOKIA ever heed other peoples complain at all, I will not be surprised if this complain will fall on deaf insensitive ears after reading other consumers complaints. Yeah your right who cares about this complaint, even no NOKIA wouldnt dare listen to this complain. Have to start considering other brands, one that really value thier consumer. Man, i am really disappointed...
