I HAVE WON A LOTTERY FOR RS.45000/= . I HAVE SUBMITTED THE CLAIM FORM TO THE PLAYWIN OFFICE IN MAY 2009, ITS ALMOST 3 MONTHS I HAVN'T RECEIVED THE CHEQUE. I CALLED UP THE PLAYWIN OFFICE AND WAS TOLD THE CHEQUE DISBURSEMENT WILL TAKE ANOTHER 3 TO 4 MONTHS. I JUST WANTED TO KNOW IS THERE A TIME PERIOD SET BY THE GOVERNMENT OF INDIA FOR DISBURSEMENT OF THE AMOUNT...IF YES WHAT IS THE TIME FRAME???? Was this information helpful? | |

Above complaint seems to be genuine. I have also same problem. The prize money claim is pending with them for about 12 months which is a very inordinate delay. They should pay INTEREST FOR THE DELAYED PERIOD I.E. BEYOND 60-90 DAYS FOR DELAYED SETTLEMENT OF CLAIM AMT.

Please Rectify the sentence mention in the FAQ & make the payment in the reasonable period This is written in the website page of www.myplaywin.com
It would take approximately 60 days from the date of the claim submission to process the prizes above Rs. 5000. The cheques are issued directly by the respective state governments for which the winning claim has been submitted
Payments are delayed intentionally or with reason to the jackpot winner player either he is lakhpatis or Crorepatis
What is the minimum period of issuing the check to the winner after claiming the jackpot amount?
Pls give me feedback as early as possible. Otherwise I have to highlight in paper & media.It's better to give correct information or make an alternation about the information in the website.
Otherwise i have to go consumer's forum for legal action.
I hitted the jackpot dated on 15th April 3:00 P.M. But after making telephony conservation to mumbai claim office, They said that it will take time.But they did not know the exact time.Please solve the problem.
