Postal Dept — Delay in Receipt

Sent a normal parcel Post from Kukatpally Post to Tokyo 1 week back and so far the same is not delivered.

My friend did from chennai and he got the same delivered in Tokyo in 5 days

When contacted the Kukatpally Post Office, am told that it takes 15 days to a month.

How ridiculous answer and working is it. When same parcel can reach in 5 days when booked in Chennai, Why it takes so much time when booked from Hyderabad

What r we trying to achieve by putting up postal services when you cannot give a proper and prompt service to consumers

It also being a Govt, Dept, people have a callous attitude, whether letter or parcels reach the intended person or not, they simply say that we have done our job and we have sent and whether it reaches you or not we are not concerned. What is this ?

Request you to take up the same with the concerned authorities. My Reference no. of parcel booked is "RN[protected]IN"
