[Resolved]  Procter & Gamble — Luring Customers With Bogus Promotion

Hi,

I purchased a Gillette Mach 3 razor from Big Bazaar at Malad and they had stickered each razor with promotion to win an IPOD or Honda Car.

The modality was to send sms on no '56677' with mach3+ customer name + surname and a code printed on sticker.

However when an sms was sent with all the details , I got return sms saying " The Keyword MACH3 on 56677 is not active at the moment"

I have all the details like cash-memo, sticker etc. with me.

This is blatant breach of customer trustand sheer disregard for consumer protection.

I wish to lodge a complaint and order the company to pay necessary damages or to sell equal number of razors as have been sold in the promotion at a 50% discount to future consumers.

The price then was Rs. 125/- hence equal number of future razors must be sold at Rs. 62.50 ps.
