Sir,
I have a house in Mahadevapura. I wasn't given the Khata. Mahadevapura is currently under BBMP, and earlier under CMC. BBMP was not issuing Khata at the time we completed construction, and even now Khata is not being issued. The same is the state in other houses in our area. I heard that B-Khata doesn't facilitate property transactions legally.
I have paid all taxes on time. Now, 7 years after construction, I am selling the house to a buyer. But I am in confusion about the Khata that I will have to produce before the buyer. Kindly guide me as to how do I go about selling my house. Was this information helpful? |
