The attitude of the people working In Raj Yamaha OMR is very bad. They behave as if we are being done a favour. There is no proper communication between the billing team and the service staff. The billing team cant answer your questions on the entries in bill. And the worst part is the billing section is almost in a different building which you have to go through a back street. So its upto you to walk back and forth if you want things clarified. Last service i was charged for water wash, but the service people said there were issues with water wash, in which case i shouldnt have been charged.
10 days back i gave my bike for service and also complained there was difficulty changing gears. And 3 days after service there has been problem changing gears again. On taking it back i have been given a bill for 1500. And of that Rs.320 is for labour and 200 for engine oil change. The same was charged 10 days before during service. So in a span of 10 days engine oil has been changed twice for no reason. Because my initial complaint wasnt taken seriously. Altogether this is the worst customer and bike service i am seeing in 11 years of holding 3 bikes. And the billing section is on first floor which you have to climb by a ramp and you are not allowed to go through the showroom. So the sole objective is to give you as much of hard time as possible. I assume this is not to do with just Raj Yamaha, but the attitude of Yamaha Motors also.
deliberate misuse of company discounts to misguide customers - 6 Ten
An employee at a 6 ten store misguided us by not informing about any
discounts available on purchase. Moreover, he did not print the bill, making
the excuse of a spoilt machine, and only printed on further demand. The
employee has been minting money by not informing the customers.
The store is located at Phase 5, Mohali, Punjab.
Moreover, the company's complaint email email@example.com is dysfunctional.
This incident happened on 10th July 09 when I was about to enter ur store in Phase 1, Mohali at 2130 hrs expecting that its open till 10 PM (as the name suggests). I was about to enter the store when store manager asked me to STOP as the store was closed (though it was very much open). I requested him for few grosery items I needed but giving me another shock he said we remain open till 8 PM only, u can come tomorrow if u want to buy something. When I said that ur name suggests that u r open till 10 PM he said no this store remains open till 8 PM ONLY...
Left with no other option I came out but with a firm mind that I will not enter 6Ten again in my life.
A request to 6Ten management------ If u have great expansion plans as most of the other companies in retail space, PLEASE STOP !! DON't EVEN THINK OF ADDING MORE STORES till the time u teach ur staff members how to behave. A customer of yours spending about 1000 rupees per month in ur store was treated like a shit by one of ur store managers.
We had recently bought new bike at raj yamaha, I had paid for some accesories along with the bike. But despite payin full cash for the bike we I was suprised when the sales guy at time of delivery said thr is no stock of items I had boughtand tht I would hav to wait for more than week to get the same.. They would never let u talk to the managing director or the deciding athority to complain as well. I was really unhaapy tht too on day of my bikes first day wit me. I would never recommend raj yamaha to ppl I know.. Yamaha should look at competent dealers if they hav to establish strong foothold indian Market.

Yes, The worker working in service department have very bad attitude towards customers..let me let you my case...I met with an accident so i claimed for money to insurance company on 11 may, Raj Yamaha guy did inform the company on 30 may ...during this period i called them daily and they were telling same status that my bike is under process or some times like...they are not able to find papers I have submitted regarding claims...Specially one Guy Vishvnath anand that bloody old man does not how should talk with customer...please fired him as soon as possible...still on 8 june i didn't receive my bike back ...

I have been taken my Bike around One month back .I am going my Bike for First service now.I have Two complaints one thing is about the Front Tyre Tube was not Good quality because of that it became Flat Tyre and the second is RPM reading starting from 2 instead of 0 after starting the Bike because of this my Engine is getting Heated up very quickly.
Raj Yamaha service division labors and even service manager are brutal idiots, worth for nothing. I had given my bike for regular service and asked to include kicker as mine is only selfstarter, its exactly 6th day today still i didnt get my bike back, saying some stupid reasons, they dont even knoe hoe to communicate, when i said they are following idiotic and stupiduous procedure/process, the service manager got angry how can i point him as idiot and stupid, so funny...
Still i have 4 more free service from Raj yamaha, but am damn sure, even if they offer me to pay some amount i will not get my bike serviced there.
I didnt look into the reviews of this worst ever service showromm/service centre.

i too have faced problems with the Raj Yamaha guys (right from the very first day).
Actually i had paid advance of 20K, before ONE MONTH of the date on which i planned to take the Bike and i booked the FZ-S Black and Green color.
But on the day of my bike delivery, it almost took them 3 hours to search for my file, and after that they just told that "Vehicle is not booked for you. if you want the same color u need, come after 5 days or else take some other color which i have stock". When i asked why is a vehicle not booked for me when i have paid the advance, NO BODY was giving a proper reply. Every one over there behaves as if they are donating bikes for the customers.(Of course i took a different color bike on that day )
Again for the registration, it was almost 10 days effort for me.
i never felt good with their behavior. even the same thing is with the Service guys also...
They have the most stupid rules. i never saw them talking to the customer in a respectful manner...
for my first free service they told oil change will be charged.. i told them i don't want the oil change in showroom (i wanted to put some synthetic oil) for that they told "if no OIL change, we will make it a PAID service".. that means to avail the FREE service facility, i should change the oil which is charged around Rs.250...WTF is this rule...
any thing u ask the servicing guys more than a normal service, first thing they tell is "It will take 3 days"
when ever i go to the service center i would see at least two guys shouting at the service guys saying "Before giving to Service, i dint have any problem. But the next day i take the bike from service my batter is totally drained out. i am not even able to start my bike".
Even for these they don't charge the battery or replace it themselves. they give a shop's address located on the exact opposite end of the city and tell them to go there to get the battery replaced on the warranty...
i seriously put my fingers crossed for 2-3 days after taking bike from service.
Surely they do their best to make the MOST UNCOMFORTABLE time for you...
Finally, i would say RAJ YAMAHA is the worst dealer. CUSTOMER SATISFACTION is the only thing they never think of..
my serious suggestion to all is " if u want good memories with your bike, DON'T STEP INTO RAJ YAMAHA... "

Greetings for the Day.I am R.Narendran working with Automobile field for the past ten years, being a existing customer and a big fan of YAMAHA products i Advised my brother Mr.M.Manikandan who is very much intrested and impressed in booking your Latest model SZR Bike (colour - Black) with your Raj Yamaha showroom which is located in Velachery.
On 22.03.12 me and my brother had went to your velachery showroom for booking the Latest model SZR bike by the time we were received by your sales officer Mr.Pavithran.Before paying the booking payment Mr.Pavithran explained the Latest SZR vehicles details by displaying it physically which is available at your place in a decent manner. Finally we are much more satisfied with the shown vehicle Latest Model - SZR and colour - Black and proceded booking payment on the same day 22.03.12.
Again with in two days that is Sunday 25.03.12 we went to your velachery Raj yamaha showroom for paying the balance full amout cash, before making the payment once again we had checked the booked Bike Model colour and specification details in Yamaha India - webpage along with your sales team person Mr.Arun and Mr.Jaipraveen at your place and also they have provided the new catlouge of SZR Bike.After confirming the colour and model we had proceded with a full cash payment and the promised delivery time for our booked vehicle commited by your sales person is 29.03.12 but due to some delay in delivery process from your end it is not delivered on the commited date.Later on the delay delivery date is updated with apologize by your sales person after calling him so many times from our end.
At last we got a confirmation call from your sales person stating that your booked bike SZR - Black is registered and ready so that you can come and take the delivery.While reaching your showroom to take delivery me and my brother were shocked and highly disappointed on seeing the registered old model SZR because the vehicle model which they shown at the time of booking is not the samewhich they registered in my brothers name Mr.M.Manikandan, finally the registered model is a old Model SZR which is laterly accepted by your Sales person Mr.Pavithran.
We feel sad about your sales person who accepted the mistake later from your end and started to convince us to go with the wrongly registered Old Model SZR and based on our un acceptance finally he re directed us to contact O.M.R branch Raj Yamaha showroom for further assistance .All the given commitments before selling the product had been dishonoured and i would like to highlight that this is a process of cheating customers expectations and trust against yamaha sales and service.
Here with i bring this to your kind attention that i have finally decided to go with two options,
(1) I want the latest model SZR bike which i have booked.
(2) Return my full payment as early as possible.
Already your people have wasted our precious and valuable timings with lot of mental stress for the last ten days, so that waiting for your sincere and trustful reply as soon as possible thru e-mail .
I completely agree its is pathetic i bought R15 LE in first servicing where i parked the bike it was there at same place with number number on back seat.till evening when i went to collect they told everything is fine we have done servicing .Am really doubtful whether they have at least change the engine oil or not.. Am planing to do it outside at least engine oil change. :(
The Owner of the RAJ YAMAHA in OMR has a very sick attitude, i had recently given my r15 for service and they took around 20 days to give back my bike for just a simple alloy change, when i asked the manger on this, he simple said if cant wait u can take the bike, that is after having the bike for more than 15 day .. for 15 days they had not even touched the bike for service .. and i also heard that they are replacing our bike parts with repaired and then informing us that they and not in condition .. and they again charge for the new replacement .. this happens specially with alloy wheels .. **** SO NEVER GIVE UR BIKE FOR SERVICE IN RAJ YAMAHA OMR *** they and their Manger Suck to the core

Hello, I would like share with you the concern about the service what they are providing to the Bike Raj Yamaha service center in OMR, chennai.I went for my General fourth Free service on 07-08-2012 at that time I had did the complaint about the oil change, mileage and chain sound. I got a call from them around 2.15pm starting that your bike service got over and the bill amount was 305.i went firstname.lastname@example.org pm and paid the money after that I was shocked when I saw my bike. Because they didn’t do any service and how I dropped at morning for service the same position is there. At the same time I met the manager and complained the same. but there is no response from them . I took my bike without service and paid Rs.305 .really I want to say that Raj Yamaha dealership will spoil the Yamaha name of the company. Better they might be cancel the dealership
OMR Raj Yamaha :: please go and sit in temples in front of the gate and ask the money that is better like what you are doing now. There is no word to say any other.
So I would like raise a complaint against their poor service and Quality check before delivering the bike to the customer why because if the same thing happen to any one .
