[Resolved]  Rajendra Gas Service Patiala — For getting new connection

I am resident of Patiala. I want to get new Gas connection from Rajindra Gas Service, Patiala (distributor of Indane Gas). Our area Tripuri comes under their jurisdiction. I have visited their office for new connection. Connections are available with them. But they are compelling for getting new Gas Stove with the connection. They are giving that Gas Stove for Rs.2000 and cost of cylinder for Rs.1600. I am not interested to purchase Gas Stove from them because new Gas Stove with two burners is available in market with much lower price. When I refused that I am not interested in getting their Gas Stove they told me that they will not give me new connection without Gas Stove.

Is it compulsory as per your company rules or no (to purchase new Gas Stove from you) ? What the control rate of new cylinder ?

Till date I have not applied for new connection, just get the rate information and formalities from them (Rajindra Gas Service Patiala).
