[Resolved]  Passport Office — Re-verification of address

Hi,

I have applied for new passport in passport office at varanasi in Jan, 2007. I have mentioned my permanent address of varanasi. At the time of police verification I was in Haryana ( I came here for some personal work). Due to which police has written in their report that candidate not reside in varanasi and he is living in Haryana. So I again submitted affidevit for revarification mentioning that now I am living in varanasi. I have submitted this in april 2008 but till date no response I got from the passport office. Even when I see the status of my passport online it show that either file no. is wrong or the information is not available.

Due to passport unavailability I am loosing my professional career and it is an hurdle for my career growth.

I want to know that what should I do so that I can get my passport asap.
