I had applied for passport on 19 MARCH 2008 at 2:30 pm(Online application).
I had submitted SSC, BONAFIDE, RESIDENCE certificates along with application form.
I had paid 1000 rupees cash at that time.
Police enquiry also over on 30 MARCH 2008.(Enquiry officer --PREM SINGH)

To day i had checked my status it is showing like this.

Dear Sir,

I just need a small advise. My mother aged around 55 yrs had lost her (Expired) Passport 2 months ago so we went to Police satiation to file an FIR so that she can produce the same and apply for a new one.However, they have asked us to provide the Passport number, unfortunately my mother doesn't even have the passport number or its copy all though we remember the house address where it was shipped to. i mir hashim ali zain a student of mechanical engg from osmania university had submitted my passport application on 2nd april 008...there was no response n no develoopment untill one day i went to the khairtabad passport enquiry office for my enquiry...there i got to know who my file was handling...i rushed to the chattabazar n spoke to mr.bala reddy for my passport renewal status cuz i need it very urgently as ive booked my gre exam date in august 08...there i got to know that mr. majeed zaheer was handling my file...i requested him to come for police inspection n am thankful to him for coming n doing the formalities soon...the inspection got over in first week of june 2009...but my current status shows that police report not sent...mayb the website ppl did not update the status...i also received a post card sayin my police enquiry was clear...my file no is-F012571

i dont understand why the govt people dont do their work on time..its just a renewal n ive submitted everything n all my documents n legal...i wud like to request u to look into the matter n do the needful as soon as possbile...ive tried my level best to try n enquire ...infact ill b goin to attend the adaalat this wednesday to request them to issue my passport on wed(25th june)
