Hi,
I am Krishna.C, I applied for Passport on 14th July 2008. My passport number is Z804118. Still i didnt get my passport. And i need the passport to take MS from US by writing GRE exam. Delay in getting Passport will effect my career. Also i need to give my passport number to take GRE exam. I need my passport as soon as possible.
Actually i wasnt asked for a residence certificate while applying for passport. After sending i got a letter asking for residence certificate, and i sent it 1 month back. Still the status of passport was not updated in online. I need it as soon as possible. Can you please look into it and help me to get it soon, Please...

i am chandrika i hav applied for passport on 22nd sep 2008
but still now no police enquiry has been done
when i look for my passport status it is written as d same above
even i could'nt get any response through customer care ppl
they said it takes 45 working days but its all most 2 months
i request u to help me to sort out my problem

I applied my son passport on 05.10.2009 From Nalgonda SP office after 2 months they send one letter from passport office hyderabad that your application is incomplet just take new application and submit

again we submit on 03.12.2009 but still not get the passport why?

I applied my family ( Father, Mother and My Sister) pass port at same date on 17.03.2011 and police enquiry completed on 08.04.2011, but still the Passport status shows - POLICE REPORT HAS NOT BEEN RECEIVED,

Please update the current status.

But after sending the SMS to [protected], the status is: POLICE VERIFICATION REPORT HAS NOT BEEN RECEIVED, PLEASE CONTACT SP/COMMISSIONER OF POLICE TO EXPEDITE REPORT.

When I checked in http://residential.appolice.gov.in/passvercyb/, I found the below message.

Same happnd with me in Delhi, for 3 months my status was the same as yours. I kept on visiting their offices, calling them, but their was no response.

Moreover we cannot apply for the new one also as per their rules and guidelines.

Finally when i left the hope suddenly, my passport came after 4.5 months.

Thats India.

Thanks for the comment dhir...This is really bad. I think in my case it's alreday crossed 7.5 months. I don't know when it will come...

I am Damoder Reddy, applied for my passport in the month Aug-2010. its already one year is over but i did not get any information. The police verification process is also done in my village but the process is not done in my college.

I have already applied for 3 times for verification process in my college, i completed my college so could you please send a verification form to my college now.

I'd applied for passport on 19-Jan-2011 at Khairatabad in Hyderabad.My file number is Z350119.I'd gone through the verifiaction without any failure.Everytime in the site the date is updated.It's showing the message that the passport will be displayed in a week time.The same message is displayed from months.I expressed my greivance in the site.But I didn't get any response.Kindly respond as my career is much dependant on my passport.Thanks in advance.

Dear One,

I was Applied for Passport on[protected] with reference Z705711 or Key no [protected], and My verification is also done.
When I am trying to track the status it is displaying No Records found this no or No is incorrect.

Please any one help on the same.
