[Resolved] Regional Passport Office, Kolkata — Police verification pending | |||
Dear Sir/ Madam My friend has applied for passport. The status in the passport website shows. : Awaits pocice verification I had complained through email to RPO Kolkata several days back but there is no reply. I had also complained to RPO delhi as next level of escalation but the result is same. I tried to reach passport office through phone, but not reachable. The status in the passport website shows.police report has not been received..
but 10 days before when i checked that i found police report has received and now showing this message that police report has not been received...
please do something about this.
Around three months over still i have not get the passport.i have to go submit the passport within 15th may..outherwise i may lost my job...so sir/madam please do something and send the passport to my address...

please do something about this.

I had submitted my passport application from on 26/08/2011 at RPO Kolkata vide File Reference No: CAL-A[protected] alongwith all relevant documents.
Already three months have passed. I have been intermittently cross checking with my local Police Station ( Bally, Howrah) about my Passport/ Police verification, but even yesterday the reply from the DIB officer of the Police station is that they have not received my file from the RPO.
Please guide, where I should now follow up for the same. It seems without going pillar to post, and begging for it, my passport will not be made.
I need the Passport urgently for my upcoming overseas official work.
Please help.

Already three months have passed. I have been intermittently cross checking with my local Police Station ( Bally, Howrah) about my Passport/ Police verification, but even yesterday the reply from the DIB officer of the Police station is that they have not received my file from the RPO.
Please guide, where I should now follow up for the same. It seems without going pillar to post, and begging for it, my passport will not be made.
I need the Passport urgently for my upcoming overseas official work.

Dear Sir/Madam,
Will things ever change in West Bengal - esp Kolkata????? Why do the citizens have to undergo so much of harressment? Cant we all just throw that word ATTITUDE away from our system and work seriously and sincerely for the pay packets we receive at the end of the month?
We have to help the Government (whichever party they belong to) as well as discipline ourselves to better this place. Pls help us... and do not harress the citizens of this state... Be a bit more organised and obliging.
