I took a BIGFLIX DVD home delivery subscription on 23 Nov 2011
for free unlimited home delivery of MOVIE DVD's, one month and
15 days promotional ( total 45 days)
The offer was available through bigflix official page.

My Membership ID No: 15054883. Payment was deducted immediately.
Later I came to know that this offer was online despite the fact that
Bigflix has discontinued with delivery of DVDs w.e.f. 18th Nov’11. 1.
I am not sure if this is a technical problem or a fraudalent way to
still try and get new customers for a service that does not exist.
I say a fraud as the offer was till 30 Nov, whereas bigflix decided
to abruptly stop the DVD home rentals already on 18 Nov.
After paying 250/= I have contacted Big Flix Customer care several
times and follow ups. Where I was told that I will now be given a
pack of DVDs for home viewing and subscription to BIGFlix+
After more than 3 weeks gone by I have neither received any DVD pack
nor any phone call from them BigFlix
I have asked a refund of the amount on 4 December due to to the fact
that Bigfliks is not able to provide me any services for more than 2
weeks already after paying the subscription amount.
I have 2 complaints:
When the company has discontinued with delivery of DVDs w.e.f. 18th Nov’11
why they are giving online offers for the DVD home delivery till 30 NOV
When such a service that is the objective for taking subsrcription is not
possible the service provider should refund the amount with penalty charges
for not being able to supply the promised service.
I request fellow consumers to come up with their comments, whoever else
also got same problem with BigFlix. I hope someone in BigFlix watches
and takes care of resolving this asap.
