[Resolved]  Reliance USB Modem — Non issue of new modem under warranty

I had purchased reliance data modem last month but within 3 weeks it stopped working. It had 1 yr warranty. On approaching the reliance customer service, they checked n said the circuit is damaged n to collect the issue letter after a week to get a new piece from any reliance gallery. I did the same but the rude manager of the reliance gallery Thane, was not ready to accept the letter. After lots of argument with him as well as with the customer care executive, they told me to bring the box of the old piece. Luckily the box was at home. Next day I handed it over to them. The Manager said to collect the new piece after a week. Now its almost 10 days but i haven’t received yet.
For all these procedures, I had to take 2 days leave from office. Also I was under the scheme o[censored]nlimited use of net for the 1st month. Reliance gallery at Thane is not supporting for this in any way. Can I expect any help from consumer act on this?

I had planned to take the same data modem, but after looing at the problem my brother akhtar faced, and above all the rude behaviour n the attitude shown by the salesman n the manager or reliance gallery thane, i completely drop the idea to buy it. I will suggest my friends too to stay away from it.
