[Resolved]  Rohan Motors Noida — Cheating and Fraud.. worst customer service

I own a brand new Maruti Swift. Date of purchase 14 Mar 08. I had the first servicing after a month of purchase which was a very satisfying. The service at Rana Motors Okhla was excellent and the delivery man was very polite and helpful and made all the task easier by his great customer handling skills. Excellent customer service from Rana Motors, New Delhi.

Now the problem arose when I went for second servicing after six months at Rohan Motors Noida. The delivery executive was very ill mannered, irresponsible and spoke in a strange language which was neither hindi or english. My car was inspected and I was informed that the whole radiator, condensor and cooling system has been damaged by a minor accident. They said I will have to pay 6k for replacing radiator and 6 to 7k for condensor (ie 13k INR). Its imposible to repair this and replacement is the only solution.(I being a mechanical engineer understood everything what he meant (GET AS MUCH MONEY FROM THIS CUSTOMER TELLING EVERY POSSIBLE LIE)

I was surprised to see such huge amount demanded for a minor problem. I said I wont be able to pay such huge amount. He replied dont worry sir, you can claim insurance and u will get full refund of any extra costs or replacement. He then sent me to call a guy from insurance department to inspect. The insurance guy seemed to be very illetrate and could not understand the problem. He said its an accident and insurance will not pay even a single penny for that.

I was in a delima. One guy said its accident and you will have to pay for entire parts replaced and another said that its not accident n insurance will not help. They both left n got busy in other works neglecting me and my problem. (REPRESENTATION OF EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SATISFACTION FROM ROHAN MOTORS NOIDA). Not only this.. the service delivery man said that he will break the radiator and condenser and make it look like accident and then insurance people can help. ( AGAIN A VERY PROFESSIONAL ADVICE)

I then called the Maruti service engineer of NCR . He was co-operative and assured that problem will be resolved ASAP. He called up the customer service manager and asked him to assist me. The manager seemed very polite and assured that all things will be done without me paying anything. He called up the insurance guy and forced him to assist me. Seeing pressure from top managers the insuranceman and delivery man tried to help me.

Finally I came to know that I will have to pay 25 - 50% of entire amount to be spent on repairment or replacement which was somewhere near 4 to 6k.

I finally decided to leave the place and go to a local car mechanic for assistance. The service delivery man did nothing.. not even got my car washed and delivered to me and went away in hurry.

I went to my local mechanic. After inspection he said that its a minor problem which can be repaired easily without replacing entire raditor. And there was no problem in condenser at all. He corrected all problems in just Rs 250 and gave excellent service.


Now I would like to thank ROHAN MOTORS NOIDA for such a great customer service.

i fully agree, its even same with their sales team at showroom & if you go to ghaziabad showroom or workshop it will be further worse. But i feel that their misbehaviour is due to blanket support from maruti or they have some hidden tuning with maruti due to which maruti does not take any action on their complaints & mantain there monoply in the region. I went to rohan motors to buy wagon r 5 years back but the behaviour of their staff was such that i got my loan reversed from them & got it transfered to dealer in delhi. As the time passed i thought with changing time rohan motors might have changed & recently decided to buy swift dezire from them as i stay in noida only, but to my surprise nothing has changed. Rohan motors has mantained its consistency in its rough behaviour. they believe that its customer cumpulsion to come to them as the other dealer vipul is also not different. so my dear friend don't try any of them again at noida & prefer to go to a good dealer in delhi.
Now see the funny part.. they(ROHAN) call me quite often and ask me about the condition of car and requested me thousands times to come there for the 3rd servicing...

But, I went to Rana Motors Okhla and got the 3rd service done..
RANA MOTORS IS the best.. no doubt.. excellent service.. excellent customer satisfaction n yes they care for their customers unlike ROHAN who only wants money n exploit customers..
Rohan motors team is not honest. We should put up complain to Maruti company.

I have given my Maruti 800 for service to Rohan Motors, Noida on 16th July, 2009.
I collected my car next day with a bill payment of approx 6000.00 Rs.
Next day the car stops in the middle of the road, and could not start I have to drag the car and get it parked outside my home.
Imagine getting your car serviced and then it breaks down all of a sudden.
Next day I called Rohan Motors; they came and reported that the battery is over!! I could not believe that how come in just 2 days after service, battery all of a sudden died!! ( The Bill clearly mentioned, ”Distilled water charges” which clearly indicated the battery was checked.) I assume if battery was about to die they could have told me in service itself.

But I was told by Rohan Motors that that’s the normal case and please buy a new battery, So I spent another 3000 Rs. and bought new battery.

I go out in the evening, and while returning home, same day!! The car breaks down again and again there is no charge in battery!!!

I again call Rohan Motors, that now according to them I have replaced battery but why still my car is this way.
Next day Rohan Motors engineers arrive and take the car to service station. In 1 hour I get the news that the conveyer belt to the water pump which cools down the Engine is faulty, so they have replaced it!!!

Now this made me paranoid, if there was such a fault inside the car, why was it not detected in service?

Q1. Why was not I told about it in car service itself?
Q2. Why did they not find out in car service that the conveyer belt was faulty, and waited my car to break down and then identify the problem?
Q3. Who would have been responsible if I had have some mishap, Like being assured that the car was serviced If I was on Highway or somewhere?
Q4. Even after reporting the issue, why was I told that the battery is over and get a new battery instead of rectifying the problem there itself.
Q5.I had to buy a new battery just because of their wrong diagnoses, Who is going to pay for it?

I sought for these answers and would like to go to consumer court.

I 500% agree with all of you. it was bad experience even for me. As rohan motors mohan co. area new delhi is near by me, i had 2 free services from them. in third time i was having problem with gears, for the replacement of gear rods they told me that they will charge service charge of Rs 1500 to Rs 2000. the cost of rods was only Rs 500.
after some arguments we left the place, and no one is keen to stop us and assure us.

then we went to rana motors okhla, and we got the all rods replaced under warranty with no labour charges.

rana motors are really good.
I totally agree with all you guys, last year in October i purchases Wagnor-Duo from Rohan Motors.
With in 8 months of period, roof and engine cover paint gets fainted. Big patches all over on the roof, i mailed and called guys but still no response from Rohan Motors. Services provided by Rohan Motors is not satisafactory, they are so rude in behaviour.
I have Wagon-R LXi Duo of 2006 model, purchased from Rohan Motors, Noida. The attitute of service staffs are very unprofessional and unethical. They tried to grab maximum amount from the customer. I will suggest other care owner to avoid servicing at Rohan Motors.
Yes, I have to agree to this...worst costumer service, ignorant staff (specifically Seema Vaid my contact person), minimal consideration for customers that i have ever experienced. Do not want to waste more time on this as it's not of much use.

Car's lead acid battery electrolyte ( Dilute Sulphuric Acid) should have a specific gravity (SG) of about[protected].25Gms/CC) in fully charged condition. Some amount of this sulphuric acid is lost either by spilling or by sulphasion of battery plates.

Most of the mechanic / auto electricians simply add Battery water to top up the electrolyte level (sometime they do it so generously that this brings down the SG significantly). A battery having SG below[protected] is likely to have starting trouble, specially in the morning, when more power is required to start cold engine.

As the battery gets older, some amount of Battery Acid should be added to maintain SG ( specially before / during winter season) or the battery is replaced.

Once in a free battery check up camp, low electrolyte level was top-up with battery water in my car battery, in spite of my opposition. I had its taste next day morning when my car refused to start with self.

Even I agree to this. Had an extremely bad experience with Rohan Motors, Noida. Had an impression in mind that Rohan Motors, Noida was among the best Maruti-Suzuki dealers in Delhi-NCR. The trust broke down in the very first dealing with them. They claim themselves to be professionals but can back-out from their commitments any moment for an amount as little as Rs1000/Rs2000. Have penned down my personal experience with executives Ms Shivani & Mr Sachin Rana. Its better to avoid them even if one doesn’t get a comparative deal from the competition coz if they can’t be trusted for such a meagre amount, how can one impose faith in Rohan-Motors for something which costs in lakhs & has to be used for atleast 3-5 years before one upgrades to some other model. I[censored]n-professionalism is in their roots, it’ll be everywhere, whether its sales, support or service. Sincere advise would be to not to fall for “Rohan Motors” brand name. Maybe, my experience could be of some help to others.
I have purchased Alto Car in March 2008 from rohan motor. They told me that 4th service will be free if you get all three services from us, on 14th mar I approached Rohan Motor for 4th free service, since my car run only 5000 Km I requested them to change only necessary things & make general service but they told me that it will cost around rs 2400/ and we will not take only service charges & make very bad behaviour. I took the car to other service station & they told me that there is no need to replace the oil & break Oil at this stage & serviced in a nice way & took only 200/- The Rohan people behaviour was ver bad even on past meetings.maruti should take action agains them.

Rohan Motors Have been harassing me since 22nd of June, 2010. I met with an accident and gave the car at Rohan Motors. The attitude of people working there is so bad. 22nd was a tuesday, when i confirmed the status of my car on saturday, i came to know that, even the survey was not done. I called up the GM (Jasbir), yes, he said, he'll get things streamlined... all in vein, today is next saturday and My Car is still with them.

One more warning to all the girls, never even think of going there. They are bad. Coz' I felt it.

i agree with all of you ...i have two cars one Swift 10 make and an 800 ..90 make ...i used to send both my vehicles to be serviced at Rohan Motors Greater Noida ...the result was that they mishandled my swift ..did not even service it well and it had developed scratches on both sides. The manager in-charge was very rude when i complained ...he in fact did not even bother to listen to me. Rohan Motors has also spoilt my 800 ...ever since i have got it serviced it breaks down frequently and whenever i call rohan motors they give me an estimate of 5k. Tired of all this i took my 800 to a local mechanic ..he said there was a minor problem and repaired my car for 1200Rs. Till date my car repaired by the local mechanic is running well

Rohan Motors was a BAD experience ..my advise please do not visit they suck big time

Guys, the web users are less so impact wil be less. I reguest you to do the same what I have done. Although it looks odd for 2-3 days but this will be real impacting.

I purchased Zen Estilo from Rohan Motors Noida on October 2011 and at that time I was promised by sales team that 2 gm pure gold will be given to me as free gift by 1st.November 2011 In-spite of my repeated remainders the sales team is keep saying check next week, next week when they they expect to receive the stock.

I booked my Swift Dezire VDI with Rohan Motors Noida on Jan 1st Week 2012 and on continuous follow up got delivery of car in March end 2012. It was thrilling experience to have a car with lots of new changes which changed in to nightmare before i could reach my home after delivery(with a drive of around 10 KM). I noticed ugly sound in the steering wheel of car. I went to Rohan Motors to get it fix, to my surprise they called me for 2 days which involved 3-4 days of their R&D to identify problem leading to a conclusion that steering motor is having a manufacturing defect. This news was like hell broken on my head, killing all enthusiasm and excitement. Then I realize on inquiring from my few friend and colleagues that they have faced similar problem with Wagon-R and Ritz albeit with different defects. Maruti is not looking to their quality testing work seriously. Although Maruti udyog replaced steering motor but all my dreams were shattered.

After one month drive i went to Rohan motors for 1st service, the adviser Fur Khan suggested for a Oil change but my information was that in Dezire 2012 oil is not changed in first service. On enquiring with Mr. Amit Mishra service manger Rohan Motors i was told that as per circular of Maruti Udyog that some car with chasis no below some number in new Dezire require Oil change in 1st service where as my friend got car( with same model) one month prior to me haven't got Oil changed.

I reach to the conclusion that Rohan Motors has cheated me by giving me old manufactured car with appreciated Price.

Above all the behavior of the advisor was quite misleading looked more keen in suggesting for teflon coating, extended warranty instead of the problem i was telling. Mr. PRamod Srivastava AGM(service) Rohan Motors was quite blunt in responding to my query instead of accepting the manipulation carried out by Rohan Motors sales team in delivering me the car.

I refused from getting my car serviced from Rohan Motors. Everyone there seems busy without work.
Guys Rohan motos noida is just a thives they remove new part from your car and replace them with a local part from taking them outside the market and sold your car part to local dealer.

they do this practice for every customer which is not present on their head at the time of service

So you can assume how your car will behave after service with rohan motos
