Dear Sir,
Sub: Delay in receipt of Passport.
I had applied on 27th April,2010, for renewal of my Passport (#F4599450), which is expiring on 10th September,2010.
The Police Verification of my Personal Particulars was delayed till 12th July,2010 as the document was sent to New Town Police Station, Yelahanka in place of New Town Police Station, Bidar.
The verification process was completed on the date mentioned above and the ledger number as informed the office of SP, Bidar was 140/NT/VRP/SP/BDR/2010. The document was dispatched on 15th July,2010 from the office of SP, Bidar to your office.
I regret to inform you that so far I have not received any communication from your office and the application status in your website is always showing “RED” with the remark “Your Police Verification report has not been received by us yet”.
I would request you to kindly enlighten me as to what step I should take in this regard to receive my renewed Passport.
