[Resolved] SBI Railway Card — Unable to redeem points since last 9 months | |
SBI Railway Card - Not letting me redeem points and have stopped access to my points i hold a sbi railway card and have been extensively using it since 2010. last year i.e. October 2012 suddenly they blocked my irctc id and i contacted them number of times to know as to how i could reactivate it but no proper response. recently i sent them emails several times at highest level asking them to solve my problem but instead of solving or giving any solution, they are just giving assurance being attended by month end it will be resolved. just to wash away their hands from the whole problem. I have plenty of points maybe more than 8000 accumulated till now but am not able to access those at all. this month's statement also i have made around 500 points but have no access to them. Please help me resolve this issue. SBI being such a reputed organisation seems to be responding in such a way. please help resolve this. regards P Purohit Was this information helpful? | |

SBI Credit Card — no refund since last 1 year
I am niraj kathalkar,my credit card no is [protected].I had taken sbi advantage credit card about 2 years before.(They gave wrong information to me about the card on telephone before buying).I paid around 5,500 rupees as per the policy of card n then within 1 month I applied for the cancellation of the card n refund of my money(after knowing facts about the card)still till today they have not refunded my amount to me.I have called nearly 100 times to their customer care every time they say that within 8 days my money will be refunded to me.can I ask for compensation to that sbi Dear Mr Purohit

I am also not able to redeem my points on IRCTC website. There no such option in Payment gateway to select Pay By Rewards as mentioned by SBI in their FAQs section of IRCTC SBI card.
Can you please address my issue on urgent basis

I too experiencing the same problem. There is no options in IRCTC website to redeem the points. https://www.services.irctc.co.in/beta_htmls/softuserguide.html in this link it shows a checkbox for redemption, but in the website no such options are available. Please Help.

Hi All,
I was able to do that by selecting Redumption Checkbox in "Plan my Travel" section.
After entering From, To and Date of Travel, you have an option to select a checkbox named "Redumption".
If selected, when you click Make my payment, it should work fine.

I tried the same but it was redirecting to irctc.co.in (Where am unable to find any redemption option)

Expecting early resolution of my complaint.
It's a pathetic experience to deal with IRCTC and especially when you have an SBI Railway card. First, after two years they sent me a login without password…then after several phone calls a password was sent….now update profile is required and there is no visible menue to do so…..finally could figure out one in a scroller on new subscription and tried to update profile then it did not send OTP to the mobile number. I wonder there is a racket to syphon points and money there. Deliberate attempts have been made so that I could not log in. I also fail to understand that once I already had a login in IRCTC, why I should get a new login and password for SBI card points redemption or shubh yatra….secondly if one of the mobile number is already registered with IRCTC it does not allow another login to use the same number. It is ridiculous to the core and will put on twitter and to minister too. Senseless waste of time and energy

I am Kailash Sipuria, using SBI railway card since long and I had arround 5000 accumulated points but till today I couldn't redeem the points. Somany times I had inquired on customer care also but there is no pissitive response and resulting that since beginning I couldn't redeem the points, please help me at the earliest. My mbl no.
