seagate hard disk — seagate bad service

This is Syed Shahied Mehdi,from Hyderabad Andhra Pradesh,

I have taken seagate hard drive 250Gb comes up with 5 year warranty.
my harddisk is under warranty period.only two years completed and drive started giving sound and bad sectors.
when i go to service center for repair. they said it will take one week time and we will replace Hard disk.

First time i got certified Repaired Harddisk. after connecting to computer i found it more bad sectors compare to my old hard disk.

again i return to service center. they said we will replace and everytime they are giving more bad harddisk compare to old one.

From Past 6 month, weekly i am going to seagate service center, "Accel Frontline Services".

almost i returned Hard disk 5times still they are not able to give good working hard disk.
my service request nos are

3) Case Id: SGTBER[protected]DW

above are all my service request given for replacement/repair.

Request you to please check into this issue. as service center is not taking any responsibility asking to contact chennai head office of seagate. from 6months i am wasting my time.

Seagate — Bad service

Hi

I have 2 Seagate HDD's and used it for 6 months. 1 was a 250 GB and the other was a 500 GB. First the 250 GB started to give me problems and I have given it to replacement and got one replaced after 2 weeks. Meanwhile I do that the 500GB started to show as it was failing so I have given that one as well for the replacement.

They have given me the 250 GB first I tried to install Ubuntu it came half way thru and then it stopped saying that the HDD is faulty and has got Bad sectors. So I have given that one back to the service centre in Coimbatore and got the 500 GB one back and tried to install OS in it. This time the HDD was not even detected inside the installation platform I have changed the installation CD but still no joy.

So I have went to the service centre and asked for the reason whenever they give me replacement why is it faulty. They are telling me that my PC is faulty they tell me that's it's also because i dropped those HDD's and I am trying to claim a new one for that.

And I haven't got my replacement yet and I am waiting for that HDD's till now this has been happening from last year november and setill not resolved. I called their toll free number to make a complaint but no joy .

Can anyone help me with what I can do about this. Can I log a legal complaint in consumer court ?
Oh God...don't tell me that Accel frontline...world's worst service center i have ever been. Whenever i gave a call they never picked...when i went there in Bangalore..they don't know how to talk...worst service...In front of me, phone was ringing and they were not picking..when i asked, then one guy picked and talked very rudely. They took my HDD and first sentence was NO DATA RECOVERY...they never tried...i was shocked.SEAGate world, 's Best Company in HDD(Sucks).secondly they told we will call you once it gets repaired...but no communication( 3 weeks) ...i went and collected after 3 weeks.Main part...i got it repaired on 5th Nov, 2011...guess what again its dead...I visited their website...world's worst website...NO Complaint section...i think they have got it frreee ;p
