I fully agree with Nabanita on this. Truly one should avoid all products of Shakers Appliances. I had bought a burner model 'Prism' and a chimney 'Satin' from them and is now suffering from their poor after sales services. The quality of the product 'prism' is so bad that I had to change a burner for Rs 900.00 within less than a year and now the 2nd burner also needs to be replaced and that too within 1 year. The response to service is extremely poor and for the 1st burner I had to wait for 45 days and now the 2nd burner complain has been registered on 18/05/11 and god only knows how long I have to wait.
I promise not to touch their product ever in future and ask all my friends to refrain from buying any of their existing or future products.
