There has been an absolutely similar case with me, Only difference is i had bought a mp3/mp4 player.
I am very much disappointed with this approch and cheating of rediff.

How can such a big company cheat people like this. Consumer dept should act on it.

I am Sandeep from Moula-ali, Hyderabad, Please refrain from using online shopping portal like REDIFF SHOPPING.
Rediff shopping is a complete fraud, and my case is a burning example, i placed an order for 2 GB shuffle with order no. 5351286 and i paid Rs 710 as COD, After like a couple of weeks i receive my package and when i opened the shipment i was completely astronished to see that the package contains 1 GB shuffle instead of 2 GB with poor sound quality and a headphone which will make your ears to use a sound magnifier, and it never runs more than 5 mins, even the gadget is not looking like a new one, i bought it for my mom, as a mother's day gift and i was not able to gift that crap to my mom, its ruined my expectation and my emotions, I know they have cheated me, and there is nothing much i can do. i reported the incident atleast 10 times through there website and am yet to get a response from them.

It was a bad experience for me and i will never use any kind of online shopping portal, All are craps and cheaters and liers. They all are a corrupted business criminals..

Shopping its really a cheating business. Products delivered is of poor quality and is different from the one shown on the Shopping page

Rediff Shopping — Complaints - Cheating Customers

I had ordered for 12 Premium Organizer on rediff shopping on 16th Jan 2010 and the order number was 5753352. However, when i received my product, I was shocked to see that it was an ordinary Organizer not more than 100 Rs, a chinese product, with none of the features that were mentioned on their website.
I raised a complaint with customer care. However, I didnt receive any response from them . Also, they do not publish their contact numbers. The only mode of reaching them is through mail.After a lot of struggle, i found out their mumbai nos and contacted them about my order. They promised to send a response by email, but, i didnt receive any
There have been plenty of complaints against rediff in various forums and they are known for cheating customers by their irresponsible behaviour.
I request the concerned authorities to take necessary action against them and ensure that the rights of customers are taken care of.

Rediff.com — Cheated by sending me Scrap instead of the Product Ordered

I had ordered a Light & Fan Remote - Control through Rediff Online shopping bearing order no. 5806341. I recieved a courier which was filled with newspaper wastes and 2 plastic junk boxes placed inside a card board box. There was no Light & Fan Remote - Control in it. I have been cheated. The Customer Care people are not responding to my mail to them.

4GB Long MP4 Player — CHEATING BY REDIFFMAIL

Respected sir,

I Placed an online order at rediffmail site (order no 5755762 dt[protected] for 4GB MP4 player . total amount Rs 1759 was paid by my credit card.

but after 2months & 8 days, they have not despatched the product to me. i have wrote to them atleast 10 times, but they are either not responding or giving very usefulness reply.

so i request to the hounrable forum to please help me to get my refund. also they must be forced to pay a compensation for mental agony which i am facing since last 2 months.

i purchased spy pen camera worth rupees 900 and immidiate paymnt was done through net in the month of june, badluck to say that instrument was not working nd i told them to replace, but they refuse to do so

Hi I am Nand Kumar Menon from Delhi. Last week I bought two items through Rediff (Ojas Enterprises).

I paid 260 rupees for a bubble gun, when delivered I got a damaged piece and also a different cheaper bubble gun which is worth Rs. 60/-

I paid Rs.2075 for a green laser torch of 200mw. Last evening I got the product which is not even worth for Rs.700/-. and with 20mw. I am a professional illusionst and I keep on buying lasers. They claimed that this can light up a match stick...leave away it cannot even project on the next wall.

Dont trust Rediff Shoppe...and their suppliers...

But we have recieved only SPY BUTTON CAMERA DVR 4GB, we have not recieved the Wireless ON/OF SENSOR RING. So, kindly take the action on particular issue, if not i will send the order back to the particular agent.

I too ordered a book from them "Norwegian in three months". Later they sent me the intimation that this item was out of stock, and that my account was reversed.
Till date, despite reminding them, I have never received the refund.

The amount was just Rs.295, but how irresponsible..!

However, when i received my product, I was shocked to see that it was Not working condition and more over it is not sealed packed, a chinese product, with none of the features that were mentioned on their website.
I raised a complaint with customer care. However, I didnt receive any response from them for a week. Also, they do not publish their contact numbers. The only mode of reaching them is through mail.After a lot of struggle, i found out their mumbai nos and contacted them about my order . They promised to send a response by email, but, i didnt receive any. After repeated emails, they asked me to send back the product to the vendor. However, they didnt resend.

After N Numbers of emails, No response form them My sugessing is please dont take or order any product in rediffshopping because they are fake if we order a good porduct they will send the scrap porduct which is rejected form the company and they will apply the condition after paying the amount only they will give the porcudt It was a real harrassment that i underwent for having ordered a product from rediff. There have been plenty of complaints against rediff in various forums and they are known for cheating customers by their irresponsible behaviour.
I request the concerned authorities to take necessary action against them and ensure that the rights of customers are taken care of.

Dear flocks Dont buy any product in Redfii shopping they are the big cheater

They have the links with the duplicate porduct vendor they will not return the money what you paid and you wont get the replacement porduct.

All the are working with rediff.com, they have no manners to talk with the people. my suggestion is that PLEASE CLOSE DOWN YOUR REDIFF SHOPPING. They are just cheaters, liers and ...

They rascals can not dispatch orders on the time. And if they are dispatching afer lots of phone calls and messages the product is duplicate.

I completely agreed with the above as I was also cheated by rediff shopping. I had ordered for a Firewire Cable 4 pin to 4 pin two months back on COD mode. But when I received the product I found that it was a simple USB Cable which is easily available everywhere. I launched the complaint immediately but no response till date. No other phone number was there to complaint. By this experience I suggest all the customers not to have shopping from this company as it is completely fraud.
