[Resolved]  Skoda — Tyre Burst

Dear Sir,

I purchased a Skoda Fabia diesel in the month of Feb 2008 from Autograph India, Mumbai.

While I was returning from Pune via the expressway, just before the expressway ended the right side front tyre burst of my brand new Skoda Fabia, bearing registration no MH -02-JP-3879, which I purchased on the month of February 2008 and is drive approx. 3500 kms. Thinking it to be a puncher, I changed the tyre with the stepny and the next day send the car to Reliable Tyres (an authorized dealers of tyres) to repair the puncher. On examination by them, I was informed that the tyre has bursted. On checking the other 4 tyres, I was informed that air bubbles have appeared on all the tyres. They authority told me that all the tyres were of substandard quality and that I should not drive this car on the highway or expressway going forward.

I then immediately contacted Autograph India, Andheri East, Mumbai., and sent the car to their workshop for inspection. The works Manager of Autograph and their warranty person opened all the tyres, photographed them and agreed that the tyres were of defective nature. They then forwarded this complaint to the Skoda India office in Aurangabad on Tuesday 6th May 2008, and we have also forwarded the complainant through the customer care no, which has been duly acknowledged by sms bearing ticket no. 06E100608.

Further, I contacted Mr. Shashant in their warranty section and appraised him of the same.

Sir, I feel that my complaint is going to in a back office file and Skoda will not change my tyres.

Am totally pissed off as the way Skoda India is taking this complaint lightly as they have put my life in jeopardy every time I drove my car on the highway or expressway.
I thank god for saving my life and making sure that my tyre did not burst a minute earlier, as I dont know what would have happened and which Hospital I would be in.

Am looking for support from your end and I hope Skoda India change all my tyres and also the tyres of other Fabio's which may have defective or substandard tyres installed in them, so that there is no tyre burst's in the future and no one fall pray to an accident or is injurded seriously.

Hey..

I have a Skoda Laura and and my Music System and my AC Knob is not working for the past 9 months

I made a complaint to Skoda India, Aurangabad more than 3 times and I even emailed them but till this date there has been no positive response and they have not been following up the matter

I even wanted to complaint to Skoda Czech Republic about the problem and how and lightly Skoda India is taking the matter but to my bad Luck that Skoda Website doesnt have a email address to complaint to Skoda HQ's

If anyone has a Email address so that I can address my complaint to Skoda Czech Republic pls inform me as Skoda India is not willing to take the matter forward.

i have done three services from skoda.three of my experience with skoda is bad.now my car water pump have blocked.from last 15 days agency dont have pump.due to [pump my ac is taking load.some time smell like something is burnt.my car is in very bad position.next week i will visit krishna auto and will fire my car in front of your showroom.

AFTER THAT TIME AGAIN I HAD PROBLEM, BREAK GOT JAMED AND I HAD TO APPLY HAND BREAK TO STOP THE CAR, I REPORTED TO WORKSHOP INCHARGE HE HAD KEPT THE CAR UNDER OBSERVATIONS AND THEN CAR WAS GIVEN BACK TO US. I AM NOT SURE THAT IF THIS PROBLEM DOES NOT OCCURED AGAIN.

WITH THIS WE ARE FACING NEW PROBLEM, AIR BUBBLE HAS SURFACED OUT ON THE OUTERSIDE OF THE 2 TYERS OF THE CAR, AND WONDER IF OTHER 2 MAY EVEN HAVE SAME OR OTHER PROBLEM IN THEM.
I HAVE GIVEN THE CAR SINCE LAST 15 DAYS TO THE DEALER TO CHANGE THE TYERS AND THEY ARE ASKING ME TO PAY 40% OF TYERS COST.

I THINK THIS CAR IS SOLD TO US WITHOUT CHECKING WETHER ITS SAFE FOR USER OR NOT. WE ARE HIGHLY DISATIFIED BY ANSWEAR OF GENERAL MANGER MR. SAMEER KHOTHARI AT BLITZAUTO.

A BLANK ANswer. I am extremely let down by my choice of your car.

Skoda — bought new car and the company gave same no plate to two different owners

on 13th jan we bought car from artia motors in faridabad skoda laura and to our utter shock on 3rd of feb we saw the same car skoda laura with same number plate what we had.on asking the agency people they refuse to accept that they have commited this mistake.

I have recently had a terrible experience with Skoda which has costed me a lot of money, harassment and still an unreliable Skoda Superb car. Astonishingly, The Skoda Company is hands-in-gloves with its Dealerships & Authorized Workshops, who are given a free-hand to exploit customers and fleece them mercilessly by Skoda itself.

I empathize with the similar exploitation inflicted on you by Skoda and hence urge you to not let it just be at the hands of foreign companies, who think of India as a dumping ground and Indian Customers a bunc of weak, uneducated .

I am creating a forum of 100 similar sufferers who can together jointly address our issues with Skoda to apt regulatory, media, public and rating agencies till we get a resolution.

Hello Sir,
I have a Skoda Octavia car under registration number WB02U6555. I have sent the car to the authorised Service station of skoda i.e. Jia Auto in Kolkata...
After the inspection of the car Mr Sourin said that my car need a servicing and need to repair my fuel pump. But after getting the delivery of car against a billing amount of Rs 62392. But in two days time again my a.c, doesn't worked which they have repaired two days back. My indicators and head light does not work which they charged me two days back, my fuel pump is not working which they have charged me 43000 bucks to repair, my new door lock is not in function which has been replaced two days back...so I have to again bring my car driving 120 km from Haldia to the workshop. ...Furthermore, I used my car only for six days in the last 45 days paying the total amount of 85000 bucks ...and today I.e. 18/6/2013 I have again I have sent my car to the workshop...
So I wonder skoda has a very poor and cheaters service. It's better to giv u car to any road side garrage..dat could b better choice...I don't know I much would u b effected wid my complain I don't know, but I have BMW, MERC, CHEVROLLETE where dere service is outstanding...but SKODA people are simply CHEATERS!!!
