[Resolved]  Smile Drive Care Pvt. Ltd. — No Service Provided,Request money refund with compensation

I have taken SMILE car helpline membership[protected] from last 6-7 months. Till Yesterday I did not call up SMILE even i do get in to some problem with car but yesterday unfortunately I call up SMILE to provide me CARE service as my Wagnor DL8Ck-2892 left rear tyre got flatten.I would have change it by myself but as my spare tyre also got flatten last night i did not had any tyre which I could have swap with flatten one. This Incident happens on 28th Jan 2009 @ 8:20 AM near Noida entrance while going towards Noida from Akshardham for my office .When I called up, phone was going busy for 2-3 instance then I successfully able to connect to Mr. Raman.He confirmed membership details with me & told me that concerned person in area will call me up to know about location. I did not get any call in next 15 minutes. Then I again call up SMILE auto care helpline, after 3-4 instances I was able to connect to same person Mr. Raman. I was told same thing again. I did not got any call again as Mr. Raman told me.I call up Mr. Raman again. When around 2 hours lapsed, I lost all my hope with SMILE care, then I got it repaired by myself by hiring Autoricksaw from that point.I reached my office at 11:30 where I am scheduled to be at 8:45 . Till today I have not even got a single call from SMILE to confirm status of my problem that i reported to them on 28th Jan 2009 8:25 in morning. By month end I will get itemised bill of my mobile phone which will show that muliple calls have been made to SMILE helpline between 8:30 & 10:30.
I would have saved my Rs 500 & two precious office hours if I have not taken SMILE service. I did not know that SMILE specialize in this kind of special service otherwise I would not have taken it. To rectify my mistake I request SMILE to return my money back with the compensation(as three other employee of my company also got late because of SMILE ill equipped service) & penalty so that it does not dare to cheat customers in future.

I tried to fax complaint to manager of company on the number mentioned on SMILE website (http://www.smiledrivecare.com[protected], while doing so I come to know that company has shifted to some other place.I tried to get new address from customer care of SMILE[protected] even they also pretend that they do not know the address & telephone number.I would request that strict action should be taken against this kind of CHEAT n FRAUD company which are grabbing hard earned money of innocent people.

I strongly agree with you.

I have taken the membership[protected],[protected] of smile car in the month of September for my 2 vehicle. On last Friday (30th Jan’09) my bike got flatten. I called at Smile customer care @ 12:00 Noon on that day, till 3:00PM nobody came to get it corrected. After that I have to go out of station, so I cancelled that request. On that day I made at least 20 calls to get the service but I didn’t succeeded. I got a number from just dial ‘ [protected]” which is one of his sales executive. When I discussed with him, he suggested me to visit smile car website & register the complain. On that day I was li’l bit sure that I made a mistake by taking membership of car help service.

After coming back to Delhi I again made a call to your customer care service. First time got reply that in 40 min our person will visit your place. After 1:15 hrs again I made a call to know the status then I get a reply that, we will call you in 10 min. After waiting for 20-25 min I again called customer care number. This time I got reply that we can’t visit your place today. we can confirm you tomorrow that when can we come.

Thanx for such a good service I got from this company.

The best part of this company, every employee of this company suggested me to go for complain about the service rather than resolving the problem.

today, after a week i still not get the service from Smile. They are going thru the same process again & again. i mailed at [protected]@smiledrivecare.com but i didn't get any reply.
this is what i wrote them, can you suggest me where can i lodge a complaint agaist the same?

I called up your customer care last night at 9:30 as the keys of my car DL3CQ9356 were locked inside the car.

I was told that the mechanic would reach to kalkaji latest by an hour. After that I didn’t receive any call from your customer care nor did the mechanic turned up.

I had to take a cab to reach my home and leave my car there. Today at 9:20 AM I reported the matter again and its 12 PM and no one has come till now and I have not got any answer as to what’s the status of my complaint.

This is not the first time this has happened with me.

Above all on asking the cust. service executive Mr. Rajat the status of my complaint after 15 hrs of intimation, he said that its looks doubtful that I can provide any assistance till 2 more hours. He completely denied to give me the no of the cust. service manager as he has instructed him not to.

This is a pathetic display of service, which you have shown.

Please refund the amount of Rs. 499/- from seven days of receipt of this mail as you have failed to provide any kind of service to my vehicle when I needed. Failing to do so would attract legal action and the same will be forwarded to the consumer court.

Hello Everbody,

I would suggest everyone who is suffer from SMILE should call up SMILE customer care to ask them they need a membership without disclosing their past relation.When person from SMILE visit consumer premises(they will definatly as they are just for grabbing money) ask him to call SMILE customer care with your membership & follwing fault in car.If a person does not come in 30 mins than file a FIR against SMILE & getting it signed as witness from SMILE executive.

While trying calling Fax number published on SMILE website I come to know that they have moved to some other location about 4 months back.Person attended phone told me to try [protected] to get in touch with SMILE person. I would request every suferer to call up this number & try to get SMILE company owner number so that Money refund can be demanded from them.
The company has done the same treatment to me. It is totally a cheat and fraud company and are not afraid of with the laws of the country even.

I am having a Maruti 800 Car with the Registration No DL 3C K 8882, for which I have taken the services from your authorized agent for a period of 15 Months. I had paid the amount for One year on road service charges vide Cheque No.015071 Dt 06.11.2008. I got the card of your co. vide Membership No.[protected].

Yesterday, at 1.00 A.M. when I was coming back from the New Delhi Rly. Station along with my family, my vehicle broke down near Triveni Apartments, Vasundhra Enclave, Delhi. fortunately the place was near to my house and it was 1.00 a.m midnight, and therefore I did not bothered you in such late hours. I locked my vehicle and took another conveyance to reach home. I lodged a complaint from Vasundhra Enclave to your helpline No.[protected] at 6.15 A.M., your customer care representative told me that it will take around 45 minutes for the vehicle to reach the destination (Against the 30 minutes time promised by your agent while taking the Membership). I waited for more than an hour and made several calls afterwards to your helpline nos., your agent and Mr Vikas etc. etc. but all in vain.

At 8.00 a.m. I got the reply from your helpline that I have to wait for another 30 minutes to get the help from your side. As I was in a hurry to go to my office I was unable to spare that much of time on the roadside. Also I tried to contact Mr. Anurag / Mr. S.P.Singh during day time, which I was unable to contact as they were not in the office.

You can imagine my condition had the vehicle broke down at Kalyan Puri/ Trilok puri road that too at 1.00 A.M. we would have been at the mercy of the roadside robbers on those notorious roads.

This is the result of being associated with you and to show faith on your Co. I am really to sorry to say that you have utterly failed to perform the function / Services agreed to be undertaken by you while canvassing for the membership fees. I would like you to get refund of the membership amount along with the other charges, including the cost of harassment for keeping me waiting at the roadside for nearly two hours and cost of repairs to my vehicle at your risk and cost from another agency which comes to Rs. 1600/- and also let me know why not the cost of harassment of Rs 50, 000.00 being recovered from you.

In case you are not willing to do the needful, the right to take the legal action against you, devolves to me.

Hope you will understand the matter in the right perspective and take necessary action at your end.

In my case, no body picked up the phone mentioned on membership card. Still trying calling[protected] & 25542554, but nobody is picking up phone. It seems they have packed their everything and ran away.
the problem is we should all unite and create a platform because individually we cannot do anything.such companies are fraud and we can trace these in any nook and corner.because it is not a question of 600 rupees.imagine one lakh people are members how much money they would have collected by now with over 50 lakh cars in delhi or vehicles.you are getting my point.they are tricksters.there office is also under lock and key.so lets get collected and take action against these .

Smile DriveCare Pvt. Ltd. — Service promised not provided

I took 24 hour emergency car helpline service memership from Smile Drive Care Pvt. Ltd. on 31st Jan, 2009. My membership no. is[protected]. On June 15, 2009, I tried to contact them for the first time for some help as my car's tyre got flattened near Sector 22 Dwarka. I repeatedly dialled their helpline number[protected], but could not get through. Finally, I gave up and fixed it myself.

Later on, I came to know that this company has shut down their shop afetr duping many people like me. I would like to tell them that in case I do not get my money refunded, I will put a complaint to the Consumer Court and also to the Economic Offence Wing of Delhi Govt.

Same is the case with me.. this company is a big fraud.. they never ever pick up thier phone .. when
we call for service ..
the number mentioned on the card is 42323232 which keeps on ringing and they dont bother to pick up the phone ... there is no other number mentioned on the member ship card
This company is Doing fraud with people.. and making money.
Do not ever get membership from this company.
