[Resolved]  Solitaire Honda — Application of Revised Price on already booked car

I have booked a Honda City ivtec 1.5, from Solitaire Honda Andheri Showroom on 29/Sep/2012 by giving a cash amount of Rs 51000.
The news was in the air that Honda City would be going to revise their rates in October.

We have decided to pay almost 50% payment by cheque and rest would be financed & wanted SBI to finance our deal for which the representative agreed.

On 1/Oct/2012 Honda Company has revised the price where in the new prices were more than the old one.

On 6th October we have made a payment of Rs 432650 to the dealer via check as a down payment and submitted the documents to them for loan approval.

Later we got a call from Honda representative to inform that loan cannot be approved by SBI due to some address issue and so they were insisting for some another bank loan.

In a day or so we decided to outright the complete payment to them by 20/Oct/2012 and get the delivery before diwali.
All the communication happened by old prices only.

Then On 20/Oct/2012 we have made completed payment to the dealer via cheque. They assured that only old prices would be applicable.

Now on 30/Oct/2012 I came to know from the representative that i need to submit the difference amount of the revised price as there management would invoice the car by new rates only.

We have asked then to cancel the booking but now they are demanding to deduct 2% of the exshowroom price as per there company policy.
