Sony — Cheated with a Sony watch | |
Vide Invoice no. XM/1314/06/12/94785, I was delivered a [protected][protected] Sony Smart watch in the last week May 2013. Subsequent to this I went to the srvice centre at Sector 34, Chandigarh since it was not working. I was told to book online. I was told that someone would collect the watch from me from the address where it was delivered- C/o Balbir Singh, 3071, Sector 40-D (First Floor), Chandigarh - 160036. However noone turned up to collect the watch. I waited for some time and went again to the service center after a few days. I was told to get the bill. I produced the same. However since the bill did not carry a date, I was told by the Sector 34 service center that nothing can be done since the invoice did not have a date.
I would like to caution people against purchase of this Sony product online since what they have done lacks ethics and is misleading. I will update you on the progress of my consumer forum complaint which is my next logical step since I have exhausted all other courses of redressal with both Sony Inc and Jabong.com.
