[Resolved]  Sony Ericsson — Service and repairs

I had got the Joy stick of my Sony-Ericsson K750i repaired from a Sony-Ericsson service center in Gurgaon, but after 2 days of that the phone display went white, and when I took the phone back to the service center the manager refused to handle the phone he said that the phone may have got damaged due to the software getting corrupted or some problem in the main board of the phone, how ever he confirmed that the Cap of the Joystick was not fixed properly. The cold response from the the Store manager made me write to the Sony-Ericsson customer service mail id, how ever I did not get any response from them.

mobile service centre gives you bad service not given by the company why you dont try another service centre near you i hope your problum will solve there.
sony ericsson opend a new service centre in dehradun so go there and talk to there engineer for any problum in your mobile i hope your problum jaldi hi solve ho jayegi.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini Phone — Refund of Money - Cancelled Order

I had Ordered 1 No. Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini Mobile phone through Mahavir Computers for an amount of Rs.8000/- including shipping charges. The Order No. 6437486 on 06-may-2011. The purchase was made by debit card. Later on, I wanted to change my choice of mobile phone and requested cancellation of order. This was done by rediff. The person who contacted in this regard is Mr. Ajit, Customer Support, Rediff shopping. It was also confirmed that the refund will be done promptly within 4-5 working days. This was confirmed on[protected]. But today it is[protected] and the 14th working day and yet to refund.

I tried to contact rediff several time by sending messages to customer support, but no response.

Request your support to look into this matter and help me get my money back.

sony ericsson — Hand Set

Dear Sir

My self Sunil Dutt, have purchased Xperia X 10i Sr. No. [protected] on 22 th May 2010 from Sony Dealer at Sec.22 Chandigarh. However the Mobile Set has been giving many problems. Few are listed as under:-
1. Hanging Problem
2. Low Battery Backup
3. Reciver problem (Speaker problem)
4. Charging problem

Consequently, I went to Sony Service Center (Modern HI Tech System, SCO 179-180, and Ist Floor Sector -17 - C Chandigarh Ph. No. [protected]) on[protected] for above problems. They checked phone and told me that its motherboard will be changed (Hot Swapped) so you have to deposit this phone here. I was informed that this process will take 7-8 days. The complaint No. SE [protected] dated 20.05.11 refers please.
I have been contacting them regularly since[protected] but now they are telling that my hand set has been sent to the company for replacement of the hand set and that it will take some time but they don’t tell me the exact time and it may take 3- 4 Months.
It is requested that matter be investigated and my set returned at the earliest, your early reply is requested please.

Hi, even my xperia x10 was facing same issue and they told me the same thing that motherboard is facing problem. I could not even use my phon for a month aftr purchase and they replaced my motherboard. I explained them as the piece was faulty give me another packed pieice and they denied this. Please help me.
I like to point out that I have on[protected] purchased NAITE phone. Quality of earphone connector and earplug are very poor. There is irregular reception because of connector. Earplug are also opened up. I have also complaint to SONY ERICSSON over telephone but without any result. Sony Ericsson — servicing flat

I bought a sony ericsson mobile, model-C905 cyber shot on 15th may 2010 from the store of COMPUTECH CENTER, ASANSOL,WEST WENGAL by tha payment of RS-18,800. After few days it creat a major problemon its mother bord, and for solving this i leave it neraly for 2 month at service center of sony ericssion, Asansol. again after nearly 40 days it creat problem again in display. i am sorry to say this type of problem repeated again 3 times in 1 year. And unfortunitly i used the handset totally maximum 60 days out of 360 days. i tolled manager of service center why this handset creat so many problem and why cannot i get the service quickly, and also requested to change the handset by informing the proper othority of company if it possible. But they did nt do that, and also take my problem seriously. after some time i knew it the handset i purchase its manufacturing date is nearly on aug 2008, so they(CAMPUTECH CENTER) give me bagdated handset also. And still this set is now in service center for servicing purpuse.
Now i want to complain aganst this SERVICING CENTER OF SONY ERICSSION, ASANSOL(WEST BENGAL) for harrasing me by not giving a clear solution against this handset problem, and also want complain against tha COMPUTECH CENTER, ASANSOL(WEST BENGAL) for giving me a correpted and bagdated handset missguidly.
Now i request u to help me by taking a proper action against this conplain.
Hope my complain will be resistered and i will given a proper solution.

The same problem occurs for me too.Mine is also a new mobile with 2GB added extra memoy card but still after one or two message not able to forward or reply for the received message getting "Out of Memory".Calls cannot be made frequently as it gets hang and it automatically gets restarted & it takes a very long time for restarting minimum of 10 minutes for updation.Please provide a solution for me too.

i am a chartered engineer living at patna. i have given my sony ericsson w595 mobile set at authorised service centre situated at boring road patna. now even after 38 days they have not repared my set. i requested them to return my set in as it is condition. they have already taken Rs. 250 and Rs 1750 as service charge. i also talked to coustumer care number and told about the fact. the service cente owner is behaving roudly. i have receipt of set and payment. please advice me for relief.

On 8th June' 2010, I purchased a Sony Hazel(J20i/Black) IMEI Number[protected], and invoice no. is SE/192/07.08, from the Sony Ericsson Experience Store at Dona planet, Guwahati, and I was a very pleased customer until one morning on 28th January, 2011, when I switched on my mobile phone, the screen was not displaying anything. On the same day i.e on 28th January 2011, , I handed over my phone for repair at the Sony Ericsson Authorised Service Center, 2nd floor, Uttam Market at Nepali Mandir, against a receipt and no date of delivery was written on the receipt as per their explanation that it is never certain when the parts will reach them, and because of this uncertainty, they can't assure the customers the date of delivery, but they assured me that they will give me a call as soon as it is done. They told me, the spare parts of the phone arrive Guwahati somewhere from Kolkata or Mumbai which I am least bothered to know .Being an ordinary customer, I don’t know the technicality where their problem lies, but where ever it lies, its their matter of serious concern, and they should rectify it without further damage in their reputation. So, after a week I gave my first follow-up, then another, and one after another till today on 2nd June ' 2011, after a 125 days of long wait, I am still not receiving my phone repaired . Now I dont know what to do, where to go, I am just a displeased customer . What I managed to do is publish the matter in our local daily how Iam being fooled till date and also served a legal notice to the service center a few days back.

I fully agree to the pathetic services rendered by Sony Ericsson: Following is my experience detailed in the mail forwarded to Sony Ericsson (@ questions.[protected]@support.sonyericsson.com) on 7th June, 2011.

"Dear Sirs

This has reference to the Service Work Order No. SE311IRS11014 created on 05.03.2011 while depositing the Sony Ericsson Aino Handset to the nearest Authorized service Centre in Kolkata, (named: Intarvo, 2 Ripon Street, CMC Building, Mezanine Floor, Ph :[protected] on 5th March, 2011.

While taking the defective handset after proper verification, the service centre confirmed that it's an inherent problem of the set & they would call within 5 working days with the status of the same but definitely within 10 working days the set would be delivered after necessary repair / servicing (Please note that Handset was within Warranty Period at the time depositing to your Authorized Service Centre).

After a fortnight, without receiving any call, we started calling up the land no. of your service centre, printed on the Work Order Sheet, but nobody lifted the phone...till date the no. get unanswered.

After that the undersigned made various calls to your Contact Centre, the details of which are appended below:

periodically to know the status!!! What an audacious approach!!

06.06.11 Mr. Amritesh Set is not ready due to want of spare parts

I have got few questions:

1) Why an Authorised service centre telephone would not respond for 3 months?
2) During depositing the defective set, it was promised to deliver the set in right & sound conditions within 10 working days. No feedback
thereafter from your end...Why?
3) If you do not have the spares for such a high end handset (purchase cost more than Rs. 18, 000/-) for 3 months, why such set is launched in the market?? Don't you feel to give a courtesy call detailing the exact position & provide at least a standby set to the customer?
4) Customer spent the money to buy this handset, Money is with you...the handset is with you (for more than 3 months)..over & above your Customer care Executives are asking to take the update by calling periodically!!! Any comments on such audacious approach of your "Caring" Executive??
5) We have been really taken for a Good Ride by your entire team. Enough on the stories of "Spare Parts". Now the simple question : When we will get back our set, in good & sound condition? A specific time frame please (ofcourse not more than 3 more working days).
