I have puchased Sony Ericson Mobile Handset model-U100i worth Rs.14000.00 on 5th of December 2009 from Hotspot Mobile store here in Lucknow.
Within a use of 2 months suddenly the handset got a problem of (system hang).I went to the store from where i brought the mobile to get it checked, but it was told that it has to be shown to SONY ERICSON Service center situated in Tej Kumar Plaza, Hazratganj,Lucknow.
I went to the service center i.e RT Outsourcing on 3rd of March 2010 & it was told by the service representative that the problem is with the software & it will take 1 day to reload the software.But after keeping the mobile handset for 2 days, he informed me that the main board is faulty & he will have to intend the same in sony & it will take 6-7 days to get it repaired.
After almost 10 days when I did not got any information from the service center I inquired about the status of repair, to my utter surprise I was told that the main board has been changed but the problem is now with the display screen.
At this I want to bring in your kind knowledge that I feel cheated & humilated as till date I have not got my handset repaired & the service center is applying all" hit & trial" theory for repairs.
I personally feel that there is some generic problem with this model & it needs to be replaced.
I humbly request you to kindly address this matter on urgent basis, failing I have no option other than to seek justice & help from the Consumer Court.
