I bought a sony LCD TV of the model 32S series in March 2008. To my surprise, the TV stopped working last week just after use of 3 months and its been more than a week that Sony people have taken the TV from my home and have not returned it yet and they are again and again making fake promises of fixing it in a day or two.
Latest stunt being that they said that the part which is faulty has been oredred and it will come from Singapore... yes you heard it right ... singapore, ... company like Sony has to order parts from singapore and it will not be in for the next 1 week.
Is this what you call customer service and product quality when you pay almost 50K for a product.
Pathetic and worst customer service.
Another surprise, there is no escalation mechanism defined and in place, I am like stuck. Please guide how I move to consumer court and get it resolved.
