[Resolved]  Sony - LCD (KLV 32v300a) — KLV 32V300A, faulty Within 15 months.

I had purchased Sony LCD of 32" in V-Sereis on 9th, Jan. 2008 from Magic Electronics, Mulund. LCD Details are as given Below,
Model No. :- KLV 32V 300A
Serial No.:- 6215294
Purchased date:- 9th, Jan-2008
Dealer Name :- Magic Electronics, Mulund.

Now the Incident Happened after 16 month, that is 4 month after Warranty Period,
my TV was Black Out Automatically on 13th May-2009. i had launched the complaint on 13th, May - 2009. Complaint Details as given Below,

As per my complaint, two representative from SONY Authorized service Center, Thane,
Mr. Mani & Mr Shinu was came at my home on 15th, May-2009 & they take 2 board (Power Supply Board & BG1 Board) with them for checking purpose.
On 16th, May-2009 eveining, Mr. Mehata ((by SONY Authorized service Center, Thane), called me & told me that BG 1 Board was damaged, u'll be charged of Rs. 15000/- for that.
Here I'm Surprising, that for Rs. 52000 LCD why i can suffer with this type of problem within 16 month? whereas that is inside problem. it is not a problem from outside like Remote Control or any cord, which may damaged by me. its a totally company fault
& for that reason only i request to mr. Mehata & Mr. Sashi ( representative of Magic Electronics, Mulund) that please you consider this problem in Warranty Period.
After 10 days they told me that it is not possible to cover in warranty period.

SONY is a very HOPLESS Company. they never bauther after selling their products. they Never give a proper service to customer after selling their product, if any problems happened.

I fully agree about the attitude of Sony. I have faced similar problem regarding service of my 43" Projection TV. I have also heard that Sony has given its service centres on franchisee basis and the engineers are not their own . I dont know how far it is true but looking at the attitude of their staff it does seem to be correct. Sony is not bothered about after sales service. I am very disappointed that a company like Sony has this attitude
