[Resolved] Southern Railways — Chennai fort railway station
To the authorities responsible for maintenance of railway stations: IMPORTANT Sir/Madam, The vacant space below the staircase of the foot-over bridge leading to the ticket counter of Chennai Fort Railway Station is being used by the public as an open-air toilet. The smell o[censored]rine is present in the air every minute of every day. No steps are being taken to clean the place. I request you to build public toilets in that space as this is a matter of public health because hundreds of people use that station and are exposed to the danger of infection. And it also affects our tourism. If building toilets is not possible, please take actions to clean the area and maintain the hygiene. Please place a fine on any person who continues to dirty the place instead o[censored]sing public toilets. Thanking you, A follower of the INDIA 2020 dream. Was this information helpful?

Even if a toilet is constructed it will be maintained in the worse way possible. I think we as the people also should take some responsibilities, in the maintanenace part. we still dont know how to use the toilets in hygenic way. our country produces lots of engg. I think we are lacking personal cleanliness.which should come from home or from our schools both fails.
