[Resolved]  SREE KANNAN DEPARTMENTAL STORES — Selling of fake perfumes

I had bought an AXE ( Fragrance- Vice) from this company's Coimbatore Saibaba Koil branch. After reaching home I found that is a fake and smelling entirely different from the original. (It smelled like the perfume sold in the platform shops). I could go there only after 5-6 days since I was busy with my routines. By the time unfortunately, my bill went missing. But I had the credit card slip with me as an evidence of purchase. But the store manager refused to replace the perfume. I earlier had a same kind of experience with this store when I purchased a Pepsodent tooth paste. It tasted entirely different from the original and was not foaming. But I thought it may be a technical fault or so.

Now there are lots of opinions rising about Kannan Dep. Stores that they are also selling fake masala powders(their own brand) second quality grains etc. Please look in to this immediately.

Selling of fake items at KANNAN DEPARTMENTAL STORE in Tirupur

Of course . Certainly right . Past a month i was also bought two more Leading brand body spray" GILLETTE COOL WAVE" and "Remy marquis" at Tirupur Branch. It was purely fake item because it did not evaporated quickly after sprayed and smells not likes original. After came back with them and inquiry about this . But i recv'd end results are not satisfactory.

Be aware purchasing before going to KANNAN DEPT store.

i had similar experience with saibabacolony, coimbatore branch. bought a wheat of 5kgs . lot of stones &other mixed .. almost morethan 400gms of stones mixed in 5kgs of wheat..
totally illegal they are doing,
i have not expereienced such kind of selling of fake products.how could they sell fake perfumes if the product is branded? it is not their fault.also their private products (their own products) proves to be good.may be once in a blue moon it happened to be like that. so, as a whole we cant consider them as bad.eye for detail is needed of course.so kannan has to concentrate on its products to the fullest expectations of the customers.it is not that it is serving 100% good or bad but that it has to take care of all those aspects and standard of selling.after all errors are common but it should not happen in this competitive scenario.to conclude dont think kannan to be completely a wrong seller.they also have their responsibility towards the cuctomer and society.
INDUMONALI's statements seem to be made by a staff member of Sri kannan departments stores because I have experience the same thing. We used to buy all our groceries from them until few years back but now even packed items contain stones, some time stale smell is coming after opening the pack. The response is very poor when we make a complaint. The keenness shown while selling their products is totally absence when you go to them with a complaint. Especially 'TODAYS' SPECIAL' PRODUCTS are old stock which are unfit for consumption. People thoughtlessly buy them and later their health is affected. Once upon a time, they were employing persons to clean, sort out quality grains and pack them but after expanding their branches, they are not able to manage and they carry on with the old image. Even packed oil sachets are costlier than if you buy from oil stores.
Madurai thekathir branch DGM boy is unfit for heading this much big retail outlet. His attitude is very bad. He treat the customer like their 2000, 3000 paid staffs. He dont have the capacity to realiase the customers how big and how to treat them
Damage piece sale @ KANNAN STORES for the price of NEW!!!
I Bought a 2 litre Prestige Pressure Cooker (Deluxe +) for Rs. 1, 155.00 on 9.10.2012. But I was given a damaged cooker by KANNAN DEPARTMENT STORES, SAIABABA COLONY, COIMBATORE. When we tried to cook using that cooker the water comes out through the Whistle when heated. Since all water comes out the rice is not getting cooked. The cooker is also continuously whistling. A cooker bought for Rs.1155.00 is not cooking anything. Hence I went to KANNA STORES on 16.10.12 to exchange the damaged cooker piece. The incharge in the store verified the damage by cooking rice at KANNAN FOOD COURT and confirmed the damage. Since I afraid that the cooker may burst when it is not good in function, I asked the concerned person to replace the cooker or refund money. But the store in charge strictly said that he is not responsible for damage and made me to talk to Prestige dealer (the person who is unkown to me). He replied that the cooker shall be only serviced and be given back after 4 -5 days. Whose mistake is this????
How could I accept such a damage piece and own a serviced one? Is it right to sell a damage piece for the price of NEW one? I am paying for a new Cooker and have to get a serviced cooker. How could this cheating occur? This is an injustice to a customer. How a customer can pay for the stores ignorance?. The company persons treated badly when I went with this type of complaint and wasted half a day in the forenoon of 16.10.12. This makes us frustrated and painful. It is a bad experience @ KANNAN STORE when compare to others. We are cheated by the store..How could the store can give us a damage piece and give irresponsible answers when the cooker is confirmed as damaged one ???? The fellow in the store said that it can be only serviced or if not satisfied you may go out. How dare he could say like this after getting full amount and giving us a damaged cooker...? We HATE KANNAN STORE AND ALSO RECOMMEND OTHER NOT TO GO THERE-SINCE THEY OFFER VERY VERY POOR AND BAD TREATMENT FOR CUSTOMERS.

I am hate their services march 2014 onwards. before more then 8 years I am buy mostly in kannan . native erode, studied avinashi, lived in tirpur, Coimbatore now sulur . so I always go to kannan. but now expect jayakrishna store (erode), I hate kannan. always selling damaged fruits & vegetables. I buying last one year olive oils from there. last 1 month I ask them 1 ltr I need. this time all material including oil they can't keep stock. I asked mini dust pin cover, that also not stock. some new person can't answer properly and don't have response to other. billing side also always new persons.so they can't bill quick and waste my valuable time. now I move to reliance. if same service going means surely they can't stand in the market. they need to change the officers and give good response, thing first customer satisfaction.
