Hi,

Please clarify my doubts:

1) Guide me what is the GST means and on what basis this amount will debited to my account.

2) In the below statement which i have received on 18th, BT amount and related charges debited to my account. I don't understand i have received BT cheque 20th Jun'08 and I didn't drop that cheque into other bank drop box. How can you that amount debited from my account. please clarify.

3) I will pay remaining outstanding amount i.e. excl. BT amount this month end. I want to know from next month statement onwards how much charges you have charged. As per my knowledge only BT amount charges i.e. .99% interest rates to be debited to my account. please clafiry.

Hi,
when I first got the e-bill i was dissappointed with SBI card services but now after reading all the comments and the similar problems all the customers facing I m regretting my decision of owning this card. I dont remember any of these extra FIN charges had been mentioned to me when I was sold this card, infact i had been assured that no extra fee besides the annual 250/- .
I really think we all owe an explaination from the concerned department and also take the oppurtunity to warn to be customers to understand the situation and make a good decision of not getting into this trouble like most o[censored]s did.

Even I got my SBI Platinum card 5 days back.. I am also facing the same problem.. they have deducted Rs.371 apart form annual fee of 2999..I am really fed up I am regretting my decision of owning this [censored]in card..

Also I was promised that I will be gettting a gift voucher of 3000/- which I can use in any Malls/e-Commerse...but In the kit I could not find any.. I have sent a mail to their customer care on 7/10/2014..but till not i have not rcvd any communication from them... I am gonna cancel this [censored]in card...

Please ensure the receipt/challan issued by the ICICI bank while accepting your cash for said EFT to your SBI A/c. If you have such, inquire ICICI Bank to confirm the status of said transfer. If they have done so, then SBI is liable to pay you the principal + damages (in the form of interest). Hence, it is appropriate if you initiate your query from ICICI bank, CP and then proceed. Trust this suffice.

Yes, I have communicated with ICICI Banak vide my letter dated 22.04.2006 and they have replied giving RBI Reference Number 653218 mentioning that the amount sent by me has been forwarded to SBI Bank. After getting their reply, I had sent a letter to State Bank enclosing ICICI Bank's reply, but have not received any reply from them till today. Please note that I had transferred many times from my ICICI Account to your branch and I have not faced any problem other than this matter. I had even transferred Rs.5, 000/- on 10.02.2006 also to my above Old Savings Account, which has been credited to my account.

As the bank Officials advised me to ask my ICICI Bank as to whether the amount has been successfully transferred from my Account, I had confirmed the same from my bank and once again approached your branch on 21.04.06 to find the whereabouts of the same. But I have been informed by your Officials that all EFT’s up to 31st March 2006 has been cleared at your branch.

As per their advice I am approaching you to let me know about the status of that payment, which is showing 'Success' as per your Bank details.

Can you please let me know about the details of that payment on an urgent basis?

Thanks a lot for your email.

As I was not getting any reply from SBI, Meharauli Branch, I had written a letter to RBI Ombudsman explaining the details and various copies of the letters sent to SBI. Within a couple of days they had sent a complaint format for filing my complaint and within a month or so RBI Ombudsman called me and SBI officials for a meeting in his office. SBI Branch Manager and two other Officials from SBI and two Officials from RBI and Ombudsman were present for the meeting. I am happy to inform you that Ombudsman pointed out the mistakes done by SBI Officials and asked them to return my Rs.5, 000/- alongwith F.D. Interest then prevailing + 2% extra interest + Rs.1, 000/- as penalty. He also asked me if I want to get any additional relief other than this, I refused it. They have credited my account with Rs.7, 109/- the next day. At last I have got my hard earned money along with interest for two and half years !

Sir, it is a thrilling end of the case and I specially thank you for asking me to contact SBI Ombudsman. As per RBI Ombudsman during the meeting, most of the people don't know about this system of complaining RBI Ombudsman and due to that many cases are not coming out.

I opened an account with SBI Mehrauli, New Delhi. In the form I had opted for online banking. It's been more than 6 months but still I haven't received my online log in details. Initially I got my username alone. Then I had tried for troubleshooting option in the www.onlinesbi.com for which i was asked to fill an e-form but to my surprise in the option of location of branch Mehrauli doesn't exist.
Then I called the customer care and I was asked to go and meet the online banking officer at my branch. When I went the officer was on leave and I submitted an application in this regard with another official. As I'm a student studying in Chennai I couldn't follow up in this matter. This application was submitted in last week of December but till now i haven't received any information in this regard.

So kindly look into the matter that as soon as possible and oblige.

This is to inform you that I withdrew Rs.1500 from SBI ATM on 28/3/09. At first attempt my request was not processed due to some technical failure. At the second attempt I received the amount of Rs.1500. But the amount got debited from my account twice i.e. – Rs 3000/- and I received Rs.1500 only once. I came to know about this when I checked my mini statement. I called up your customer care number, they guided me to write an application to the Branch Manager of my home branch. I followed the instruction and submitted the application along with the mini statement. I was informed that the amount will be rolled back in my account in maximum 8 working days. When I asked request number for my complain I was not given. Its now 44 Days and still I have not received my amount. This is really frustrating. When I again went to check the status in my home branch I was told that it will come, but when that even we can’t tell you. Please help me if you can or at least guide me what should I do.

I hereby wish to inform that, I was trying to withdraw the Money from the ATM in "Dena Bank , in Kanpur. But the transaction was denied But I didn’t received any receipt due to ATM receipt problem. But after this I checked my balance in other Bank ATM and at that time I was surprised to see that the amount of Rs.2500/- was Debited in my Account.

I have already made a complian on 01.10.09 in the ATM cell and my complain no. is 77302, but no action has been taken from Andhra Bank. I have made 2nd complain by letter on 20.10.2009 and got receiving from Andhra Bank, Meston Road, Kanpur.

I will also goto the obmudsman regarding this.the rude behaviour of the sbi officials in chandni chowk, (even the CGM) was very depressing.i can never recommend anyone to be with sbi.I will close my account and withdraw the remaining money from my account very soon once i goto lucknow.

I was using SBI credit card no .[protected] in Kolkata in 2007.in the mean time, i have been transferred to Mumbai, But, I dropped two cheques no.184190 dt.04.12.207&184192 dt.08.01.2008 received by them 29.10.2007 and 30.11.2007 (according to their record)along with intimated that my no availability in Kolkata to Mr.Manish Deewan, VP, SBI credit card.They did not
Encash the cheques .All of sudden, I received a call from no.[protected] l on 15th February, 2010 that you are defaulter so a case against you going to be lodged in Tishazri court or do settlements of Rs.40, 000/-.I could not understand, I made the payment in cash of Rs 5000/-in and a cheque of Rs35, 000/- is given to Santosh Sawant, sent to me for collection and I also handed over a letter to the man while addressing customer care for details(all proceedings happened during the office hour).But, when I searched my records, I found that, I had already dropped cheques well before time along with a letter of no availability in Kolkata. So ordered the bank to stop payment of cheque of Rs35, 000/-and faxed letters 23.03.2010, 04.04.2010.19.04.2010.29.04.2010, 25.05.2010704.06.2010 to MR.Deewan . In the meantime, I several time contacted to customer care no.[protected], they told me that no need to make any payment.But, I received a call from no [protected] about payment, again i asked about details. She replied that according to RBI rule post dated cheques are received of thirty days before.I asked to show the instruction of RBI, she started for settlement.
Again, I received a call from [protected] on4th, June, 2010 in busy official scheduled and said to me to make settlement of Rs25, 000/-.I again asked about the details and told for latter call.Again, I received call from above said no, I asked about his name and designation.He told me his name Ajoy kumar and started to use unparliamentarily words, I switched off my mobile again
Switched on my mobile received a sms for making payment of Rs 41, 370.72/-.Again, I faxed a letter to Mr. Dee wan About incident but yet not got any reply towards him. Kindly, help me in resolving this issue at your earliest.

100% now I believe that if you have money then you can get anything, every thing is possible by you. If you are a poor then you can’t get anything, every thing is far and beyond possible to you, also you get poor judgment and poor comportment in all aspects of life, in our country INDIA. For example 1. I. I went to Police Station more than 100 times, made 5times entries (complaints) into G.D. but Not even a microscopic actions took place against the alleged bodies. On the contrary Sandip Samanta, S/O. Shankar Kumar Samanta (S.B.I. OFFICER Ph. No. [protected], Branch: 24B, Nimtala Ghat Street, Jorabagan, Kolkata- 700006, West Bengal, India‎, Bank Ph. No.[protected] he has much more and enough money so they purchase all police personnel's and some political leaders, some Dada. Etc. Only I used to get many letters and many phone calls which all seem to me needs to be thrown in the trash, as it all are valueless, toothless and only simply a solace to the poor. What an undone boy I am! Woe is to me! My wife and her family, Shankar Kumar Samanta and his family harassed me and my family, they are torcher me physically and mentally, and all time told that they kill me and my family. Dt. 06.08.2010 Case no.336 U/S: 147, 148, 448, 325, 379/34 Sandip Samanta, doing the case me and my family, and his evidence only his father, mother and his uncle, not a single man in my village for their evidence, it’s a 100% fabricated case.

We got married 05/03/2002, and have a daughter who took birth on 09/07/2005. My wife and her family lodged a case 498A/34 IPC, FIR NO.276, date 31/08/2009, P.S.: BAGUIATI, against me and some of my family members it’s a fabricated, baseless, legless, toothless and doesn’t have any commensurate to the fact. My wife is engaged and having an illicit affair with a boy (Sandip Samanta, S/O. Shankar Kumar Samanta S.B.I. Officer Ph. No. [protected], Branch: 24B, Nimtala Ghat Street, Jorabagan, Kolkata- 700006, West Bengal, India‎, Bank Ph. It’s an utterly a huge and a palpable offence subsequent to which the boy deserves severe and examplanary punishment so that no one can dare to abuse this law. One thing is as clear as crystal to me that the law and the task of the law enforcing agencies vary from man to man. A new proverb is going to take birth very soon that "Justice for the rich and Injustice is for the poor" A rich reserves the right to indulge in any kind of heinous business but the poor is restricted to involve in any type of excellent deeds" To see all these my heart is about to come in the mouth and the ground under my feet gets shook. In a word all types of Law are for the poorest and the richest will enjoy the richest judgments from all quarters.

After coming form the DumDum Central Jail, I mat with the BAGUIATI POLICE O.C. Mr. Goutam Mitra, and asked him politely: “ SIR I FAILED TO UNDERSTAND THAT I MADE SO MANY ENTIRIES INTO YOUR G.D.E. BUT YET NO ACTION SO FAR HAS NOT BEEN TAKEN FORM YOURSELF” then BAGUIATI POLICE O.C. Mr. Goutam Mitra, went through all my papers (20 pcs. Adult S.M.S., Adult picture with the boy, G.D.E, MANY MANY OTHER PAPERS RELATED TO MY CASE and TWO c.d.). After seeing all my papers he told me that I cannot take any action until and unless you lodge a case against all of them.

Then I Prayed to the Ld. C.J.M at Barasat court to lodge the case, against the alleged person. (The payer to the Ld. C.J.M. is enclosed which is self-explanatory) after filing the case (The case is starting At Baguiati Police Station Case No-168 Date: 24.04.2010. CHARGE 323, 379, 406, 497, 498, 500, 504, 506 READ WITH 34/120B OF INDIAN PENAL CODE) the BAGUIATI POLICE O.C. Mr. Goutam Mitra, and I.O. Mr. Prasenta Kumar Das, Mr. Ajay Kumar Ghosh, in stead of taking not any take proper investigation/ not take any action/ not take any type of query to recover my Cash and Gold form the house of Shankar Kumar Samanta, The BAGUIATI POLICE O.C. Mr. Goutam Mitra, and I.O. Mr. Prasenta Kumar Das, Mr. Ajay Kumar Ghosh, took my case as a Golden Goose, and how much money BAGUIATI POLICE O.C. Mr. Goutam Mitra, and I.O. Mr. Prasenta Kumar Das, Mr. Ajay Kumar Ghosh, has taken is well known to them. Neither he took any take proper investigation/ not take any action/not take any type of query nor he did roundup them against my case.

When I saw that already near by 90-100 days went by “ I went to the BAGUIATI P.S. to know the status of the case then BAGUIATI POLICE I.O. Mr. Prasenta Kumar Das, Mr. Ajay Kumar Ghosh, became outraged me and my mother that if you ask about Shankar Kumar Samanta and his family I will sentence you and your family in the Jail, all their languages is so much filthy dirty which I cannot express front of you.
As I’m 100 percent innocent so I screw up my courage to place my grievances to every body in order to get redress. So I want to let my matter informed all the Indian and others. ChidambaramUnion Minister of Home Affairs, National/International Human rights department, AAP KI KACHEHRI – KIRAN KE SAATH, Kolkata Police, and all police officers in W.B. informed Kolkata Commissioner of Police, Manager S.B.I.-Branch: 24B, Nimtala Ghat Street, Jorabagan, Kolkata- 700006, West Bengal, India‎, Bank Ph. No.[protected]. My nation, all of the news channels, and all press, Talking with some NGO’s: 1. Universal Right and Duty for Human to Abide URDHA, 2. I was offered the SBI Railcard, through the IRCTC, They mentioned it as a * Free Card, No membership fees and gave me the card. Before i recieve the pin number to activate the card, i received the statement for an Annual membership card fees of Rs.580 + Service tax. When i contacted SBI, they say it is a chargeable card, please clarifiy with IRCTC. I dont know why these Reputed banks are playing a full with the customers like this. I have asked the bank to cancel my card.

I had purchased a Jeans for Rs510/- from Kapoor garments # 5-8-553, Kapoor plaza, Abid Road, Hyderabad-500001, phone:23202700.on 12-1-09 vide tax invoice cash no:17908, However, the monthly statement shows Rs510/- twice for the same date. please check and avoid any double payment for the purchase done only once for Rs510/-.

ATM Outlet of SBI, Manipal(Karnataka State) on 24-03-08, however Statement reflects Twice Rs.20, 000/- withdrawn on

I made a complaint with my Branch however the attitude of the
Branch Manager was very casual as well as non=cooperative.

I had withdrawn cash of Rs.15000 from a SBI ATM located in Chattrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST) on 21st of March'08. Now in my account details, the same transation is reflecting twice with the transaction number. That means according to the bank I have withdrawn Rs. 15000 twice on the same day i.e. Rs 30000, which is absolutely incorrect. Inspite of complaing severel times, giving application letter till date nothing is been done. And on top of that whenever I asked th Branch Manager about the same, the only answer I get to hear is, ' We have forwarded your complain and thats all we can do.'

I given the application on 05.10.2008 for my ATM Card is not working to Branch who is the the ATM Card incharge, saveral time i personaly went to inquir my ATM card is not reciving, so lastly i got the ATM card on 04.12.2008. But till date i not got my ATM PIN number, i personaly went the branch and i met the branch officials no responce, and contact the local phone no:[protected] & [protected] no one is giving the responce for ATM PIN no. They says Contract is chainged may wait till PIN number coms.

Sir aftral this small ATM PIN number takes this much time why, whare is the mistake takeing six months time to issu the ATM card and PIN.

So cocedred my case and issu the ATM PIN number.

The amount was debited to my account the same day, but it is not credited so far to Mr. N. Siva Pandarinadh’s account in State Bank of Hyderabad Vijayawada branch Branch.
I made an online complaint to the Customer Care Hyderabad and sent several emails to the Customer Care Hyderabad eamil ID: helpline.[protected]@sbi.co.in. I was given an Complaint Ticket Number : CC[protected].
In spite of my repeated requests there is no response. I feel it is better to go for some other Bank instead of depositing and making transactions through State Bank groups.
I have seen several customers fed up with State Bank of India.
Hope atleast now the concerned people will respond to my request.

I had withdrawn cash of Rs.20000 from a SBI ATM located in Ludhiana (punjab) Terminus (CST) on 13.10.2009. Now in my account details, the same transation is reflecting twice with the transaction number. That means according to the bank I have withdrawn Rs. 20000.00 twice on the same day i.e. Rs 40000.00 which is absolutely incorrect. If any bank is delayed beyond 12 days has to reverse the transaction with penalty amount of Rs.100/- per day.

SBI Credit Card — receiving harassing SMS

Hello Sir/Madam,

I had settled the outstanding amount for my Sbi CC 5264 XXXX XXXX 2256 of M Rambabu (of Bhubaneshwar) by coming to your GE office (Delhi) at infinity towers. But i am still receiving SMS on my mobile phone that i have outstanding amount every month. Can you please look into this and please help stopping the harrasing SMS being sent. Since i the son of M. Rambabu had personally gone to your GE Office and met Mr YP (Manager) i suppose and he personally signed the settlement letter and handed over to me. I have the settlement letter as well as the receipt that i have paid the settlement.

I had talked to the executive at Bhubaneshwar and he told that the SMS would stop within a month. Buth the SMS are not stopping and being received every month. I had also talked to the manager at GE Mr YP and he told that i have the talk to the Bhuvaneswar people and got it resolved. Please, if i have settled the amount then why should i receive SMS and for stopping SMS why should i interact with people whom i do not want to.

I had also sent a email to their feedback email (feedback.[protected]@ge.com) on 15th of May and received a automated response that i would be contacted by them within a 5 working days. Even after 5 working days i have no contact on phone or a email from a person the ticket which was sent to me with the auto resopose is 'CaseID=[protected]'.

SBI Home Loan — New reason for not giving home loan

I have asked for home loan from SBI for renovation of my house. It has been approved but they keep me on halt by saying we dont have funds rigth now we will give you as soon as we got the fund. Now when the interest rate further reduced and they are providing loan to HUDA plot under 100% finance scheme I get back to them for asking my loan status but now they have new rule for home loan that is they need registry of last 35 year that I think is not possible as only fool one buy so old property. So its simple they are not in mood provide home load as its interest rate is reduced and recession.

SBI Bank( Barabanki Main Branch) received a cheque of Rs.134200.00 on 13.09.2008 after fulfilling all the formalities. But the amount got debited in my A/C[protected] on 19.11.2008.
Rs440 were credited from my A/c as S.C charge. and I didn't received any interest of time period 2months and 6days which should be Rs806.27 @3.5p.a

I've submitted the same letter on 4.12.2008 to SBI Main Branch Barabanki. Neither received any response nor interest from Bank. Kindly help me.I wiil be highly obliged for this act of kindness.

State Bank of India — Housing Loan

I had taken a Housing Loan for Rs.4 Lakhs from HDFC five years back and have been regularly making the repayment. When I got the loan the rate of interest was 8% and it has been on the raise and now it is more than 12%

Now due to cash crunch and economic slow down, due to RBI regulations though the Nationationised
banks have drastically reduced the Housing Loan interest rates, private players like HDFC, ICICI has not
done anything. In view of this, I have decided to switchover my balance Loan amount of Rs.2.75 L from HDFC to State Bank of India, where I am having a SB acccount with them.

Today when I visited myI branch and I was surprised to learn from the Manager that the minium amount for transfer of Loan from anyother financial insitututions should be Rs.5 L !!! You will apprecaite that my original loan amount with HDFC itself was only Rs.4 L and people will take loan as per their funds requirement and also their ability to repay the same and not as per the minimum requirement of banks.

In view of this my request for switchover of loan from HDFC to SBI has been rejected outright and I am
unncessarily continue to be burden with higher interest with HDFC.

In view of this I would like to know why there is no control on the interest rates charged by the Private
players and also why State Bank is having such funny policy of minimum requirement of loan amount which is affecting the salaried class like me.

SBI house insurance — Rejection of House insurance

My name is pranathi from hyderabad, I am not complaining against any one but couldnot find a solution for my problem so writing to you with a hope that you will help me.
My case is as follows::

My father suffered with minor heart attack in 1981 and under gone bypass suregroy in 1998.

My father took house insurance in SBI in 2004. We are not sure what he wrote about his health in the insurance form, to my bad luck I lost my father in 2009 due to "cardiac arrest" (which is not heart attack). When life insurance people came my mother gave all details. Then they asked us for leave report of my father from 2004 to 2007. Before we could submit the leave report, they send us a letter saying our claim is rejected because my father didnot mentioned about his health in the insurance papers.

I read in some article that "The state Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission announced that an insurance firm cannot reject a claim merely on the grounds that the deceased withheld correct information about his health at the time of applying for a plan". If this is true can you suggest me what can I do further. Is there any way that my mother can get this insurance claim.

Please help us, as no one is there to help or suggest us

I applied for loan to purchase Bolero SLE from SBI branch Jai Narayan PG College Char bag Lucknow, and after two weeks it has been rejected by SBI on the basis of you are not living in luck now.
My Question: My home district is lucknow rural(Village: Navinagar, Post: Nagram) and rural areas near Nagram don’t have SBI branch.

I have applied for a home loan from SBI, Prince Anwar Shah Branch, Kolkata on 14/07/2009. It has been more than a month. But so far I am yet to receive a call from SBI. I tried to get the updates by calling the customer care number several times. But so far they have not provided any necessary feedback. I also have talked to the loan officer at the SBI Branch. But she also could not provide me any valid updates.
Would it be possible for you to provide me some updates regarding the loan status.
Seems like the processing have not yet started. I met to the people at RACPC a week ago. But I was informed that the respective person is on leave and I was told that the processing would start within two days. But so far the processing have not yet started.
I tried to log a complaint. But it seems that the customer care # does not exists!
I am totally lost at this position and I don’t know how long the processing would take. I am really getting frustrated with the anxiety and harassment I need to suffer due to this prolonged time.

Home Loan — statement of home loan update not done

We need every month our loan account statement will come on my mail i.d which is mentation on above & also display now what is the rate of inerest rate is apply in our remaning amount.

we recently had a burglary at our house while asleep upstairs.
I called the police who came out in due course and investigated the crime as an ammount of proprty was stolen from the house amounting to around £3000.00 the thieves also stole my house & car keys then went on to steal my car which is only a year old.
I was given a crime No by the police this was passed on to my house insurers and my car insurance. The car insurance have already authorised payment for my car but the house insurers are refusing to pay out because they say that the window the thieves got through was left open. my wife is convinced she left the window ajar on the secondry lock which she always did as it was a wc window but the insurers still refuse to settle with us. we are bothe retired and not in the best of health surely this cannot be right after an aggrivated burglary

My home loan for 2 lakhs was approved in 2001 for 15 years under 11.5% filoating rate of interest and I took 187500 only.I applied for the detailed statement EMI to[protected] the bank mngr. of my branch (NEDIYASALA) b'cause the balance amt to the above loan on 8/9/2009 is 1, 18, 055.32. They says ie, the branch computrised only on 2006.So they can't give the statements before 2006. The deatails are not entered in the computer.

I give my complaints, to correct the _computerized system data_ for my home loan account.

I request your kind attention to resolve my problem and help in keeping your customer friendly approach for all transactions.

D/Sir,
I had applied for a housing loan of Rs 10 lac on 22/08/09 to purchase a flat at Ghaziabad. But on 11/09/09, Branch Manager of SBI, ADB Harduaganj told me that your loan documents have been returned/rejected by RACPC,Ghaziabad/RCPC,Aligarh mentioning that Mr. Anil Kochhar(partner of M/s Vishwas Builders,III-F-79,Nehru Nagar, Ghaziabad) have no right to execute the SALE DEED whereas Mr. Adarsh Kochhar executed and registered a general power of attorney of the plot in favour of Mr. Anil Kochhar on dated 1-1-2002 entered in book no.-IV, volume no.651 on pages 299/300 in serial no 157 dated 1-1-2002 in the office of Sub-Registrar-IV Ghaziabad.
So, I request to let me know by whom it have been known to SBI that Mr. Anil Kochhar had no power to execute the Sale Deed of MIG- G1, Plot no.-II-A/45,Sector-II-A, Vaishali, Ghaziabad(UP) and why my loan have rejected.

Hi,
I am an IT Professional. I have visited SBI hinjewadi branch for home loan application. I want to apply for home loan of 20 lacs but everytime i visit there, they will come up with a different set of issues with my application. Sometimes, they will say, you are not eligible for 20 lacs. Sometimes, they will say, you are eligible but we need some more documents. I do have a complete list of documents required for home loan issued by the same branch but don't know why they want to delay things. I have to give my first disbursement by 20 December, 209 but they say that it will take more than a month from the date of application. I am not sure why more than a month is required if i have all the documents ready and reviewed by them. Please help.

I goes to sbi for home loan but offcer told that u pay your return in same date so u are not aligible for home loan is it right can u under stand

State Bank of India — Wrong entry of home loan rates in system

To state bank of india,

Dear state bank officials, i have taken a home loan from SBI in 2007, under the corporate scheme and max gain as the account type.

I had been offered 9.25% as the floating rate. over the period of 1 year when the interest rates started falling i did enquire for my account rates to be reduced down (this took me 4 visits to the branch). After all such visits i was told that my account being max gain it cannot be reduced.

Again over the period of 12-16 months i observed that my interest was drastcially uplifted from 9.25 to 10% and above, eqnuiring this with the branch - more than 6 visits over 3 months, finally one fine good day i insisted them to show this interest rate on the system and to my surpirse, my interest rate from day one was entered as fixed for 10% - Hurraaaayy and hats off to SBI for their mistakes as usual. The brach official politely in a goverment emplpoyee fashion said "we are sorry, and this kind of things do happen dont worry we'll adjust the amount in next month". months after months nothing happened, i visited the SBI brach more than i visited my office a week, finally got hold of the manager after 8 visits. the manager politely said "SBI see itne acchi service kee umeed karo bhai ...we are SBI".

What a mess, every time when i go to visit this branch they ask me to come the day after next and this goes on.

One day finally the clerk gave me a index showing some other persons loan charts taken in the same time and asked me to compare myself for any arrers, on checking i found that all this indexes are wroing myself. Last month when i finally visited the branch the manager was retured and the staff is transfsred to other locations, the story has to be started again.

God bless all individuals like me who have taken loan from SBI. re-think 100 times of the service rather than product, that is the reason why competitors like ICICI having very bad name for home loans take adavantage.

My home loan for 8 lakhs was approved in 2008 for 20 years under 8% filoating rate of interest.
1) But in their computerized system data show it for 10 years.
Due this overdue is shown in my account, as I give my EMI -Rs.7400 regularly as per agreement on Hard copy of Loan agreement papers.

For this correction, required to give the application in hard copy to main Branch & after that regular follow-up is required up to one month.

2) I required the Provisional Certificate for Tax submision in January Month for the period of April to March loan repayment, as per company policy.

I regualrly call to branch, but they give excusses with following reason--

1) It is not SBI policy to provide Provisional Certificate for Tax submision in January Month for the period of April to March loan repayment.
2) General Manager is not available for the providing the Certificate.

All other bank( HDFC, LIC, ICICI Bank) provide the same certificate in January month also.

SBI — LOAN

SBI sanctioned a loan of Rs 10 LAC (Housing Loan). out of which i withdrawl 6 Lac but not taken 4 Lac in last one year. But i am repaying EMI on the basis of Loan amount 10 Lac (which sanctioned but not taken fully) now may i call for interest on the remaining amount or can call for rebate on EMI for the amount which has not been taken.

I have applied a home loan SBI Erandwane Branch PUNE.I supplied all the documents on January 6th, 2010 even my valuation report and search report has been completed.Whenever I call the person(Mr. Adaekar) for getting the status, he says it is under process.It was really a painful experience of my home loan application with SBI. I have wasted 2 months of time without even having success. Till now 5th March 2010 there is no improvement in the process of sanctioning the loan. I dont know why there is delay in processing the loan. Are they looking for bribe or any recommendation for giving loan, I am not sure. I dont know how to get the home loan as soon as possible as they are not at all responding or sanctioning loan.
Can you please solve this issue in sanctioning the home loan.

SBI process is very bogus, they provide the pre-senction letter which is use less irrespective to other banks like HDFC IDBI ICCI they give you senction letter after veriftyng your all records and documents. This claims you can take loan of amount *** and you can go for builder agrrement easily.
I applied to SBI Baner branch for home loan 1 month back, they said it takes 21 days to process your home loan and provided me eligibilty letter i.e. pre-senction letter now i have done agrrement and applied with full documents.. 35 days has gone i did not reciveve any communication from then when i try to follow up they say its under process. I don't know how much time it will take more I am fed up.. SIB is bakwaas

State Bank of India — MONTHLY LOAN INTEREST

it is to inform u that i have taken an educational loan from your state bank of India,branch-bibhutipur,samastipur(bihar).
After the first installment ,the bank has deducted loan interest from my account.I do not wish to pay interest monthly,as i hope it is optional too.i would better prefer to pay all interest after completion of my study period.

SBI's personal managers are thinking that that bank is for their own.They never understand others problem.Due to the late all the prices are going up and the estimation goes double.the managers work for their own purposes

I had applied for home loan at Randheja branch near Gandhinagar around 15 march 2011 and my file is then forwarded to the zonal office Gandhinagar. as per the branch final approval is came from zonal but today is the 20-apr 2011 but there is no positive response from the zonal. i had meet the officer at the zonal personally but still not any forward direction for the loan approval. i am like the tennis ball back and forth between zonal and applied branch. really tired in this issue. some body please help me to come out this

Not at all satisfied with the SBI home loan process. I have applied for home loan at HSR Layout, Bangalore and it is more than a month but did not get any update. All the inquiry is been completed 10 days back but still agent is not giving any update. He is not giving even application number by which we can check ourself. While calling agent, he is not lifting the phone, later sending msg that he is out of station and he will be back after few days and then he will give status. They don't understand other's situation and god knows what is happening their end.

I too have similar experience of home loan for extreme delay in process.Not only the delay but non cooperative nature and trying to avoid the customers is biggest problem.To my opinion no one should go to SBI for any kind of loan. The biggest pity is NO one has time to check the file.They keep on asking for the documents which already exit in the file.I have applied for the home loan in Ahmedabad through polytechnic branch.Allast I was tired and took away my papers. I lost Rs. 10, 000 as there charges for processing.

Can I ask them to refund this money ???

I have similar apathetic experience like many sufferers. I applied for a home loan at SBI Nandanwan branch. I supplied all the documents on July 15th, 2011 to Adv. Whenever I call the person for getting the status, he says it is under process. On[protected], when I called, the person said there was some clarification to be done in the legal report. When I asked for what it was, he said only after receiving the report I can tell you. I registered my grievance filling in on line complain form. They offered complaint No called ticket. My plot is in the prime locality where a colony is established. Everyone, house owner in the colony had sought loan from one or the other bank including SBI. But they (SBI personnel) still don't assure me when they can give the report to me. What is causing delay or whether SBI will offer loan to me, no one is in a mood to tell me. Already the plinth is constructed for which i have expended money.
Such a prominent bank, and handles affair in this way! Other banks jump for disbursing loans. A few persons have monopoly in it and they have no work culture and desire to serve the customers.

This is high time. We all should approach consumer court and make SBI responsible for their non co-operative and harassing behavior of staff. If they can not change let SBI stop this division and stop making claim of biggest bank of India.

Does SBI come under RTI act ?
I just want to ask them...why there is a different ROI for the same loan amount with same tenure.
I have taken a homeloan in 2008, the ROI was 10.5, After couple of months, they introduced a plan for the new customers "8% fixed ROI for the first two years". I requested them to move me into that plan, but they said, it is not possible as it is only for new customers. I maintained mum...!!!
Now my ROI is 12.5%. I was very embarrassed to see the interest per month in 2008 and today is almost equal where my outstanding amount is reduced by more than 3 lacs. I have a burden of more than 35000 per year.

Can somebody throw some light, can I go for a RTI ?

Dear Sir,
We had applied for a home loan with SBI last year and have submitted all documents and received a sanction letter. However, the loan was never disbursed even after several follow ups. Their Managers at the Borivali West branch have been transferred thrice and the staff does not answer our phone calls any more.
They apparently can not trace our file.
We are extremely anxious and in trouble since the documents submitted were in original!

I the undersigned is residing in Durg (Chhattisgarh state). I have retired from Dena Bank in March 2011 and now I get the pension from the Dena Bank after retirement. I booked one Flat in Mauza Mondha which is being constructed by Vishal Infrastructure Nagpur, Subsequently, I approached State Bank of India, Nagpur and applied for house loan Rs.8.30 lakhs. The State Bank of India is provided one room in the office premises of Vishal Infrastructure located at Ajni Square Nagpur-15. Shri Vijay Satpute is looking after the house loan cases in that room. I have submitted the required documents and papers whenever demanded by him. The bank even charged Rs.1500/- for documentation.

Since last 6 months, I have submitted all papers required by the said bank for loan purpose. The Officer of State Bank of India, Nagpur Mr.Ghasate referred my case to SBI Durg-Bhilai Main Branches for verification. Even after receiving confirmation SBI Sector-1, Bhilai Branch. I could not receive the information about my loan case.

Then finally I came to Nagpur and visited SBI Divisional Office Kingsway Road, Nagpur on18/04/2012 to enquire about my house loan case. Senior Manager loan deptt. getting information regarding the rejection of my loan application. I was totally shocked. Though I am capable to pay the loan in due course of time. I did not get the house loan from the said bank. Thus the concern authorities of the bank have troubled me mentally and physically since last 6 months and even after that I could not get the house loan for my flat. Therefore, by letter I condemn the negative approach and activities of State Bank of India, Nagpur for not sanctioning of house loan.

i applies with sbi bank for home loan that bank is in Mumbai and my salary account is also in that branch. after giving them all documents they said they will give me loan this wording was from sbi branch manager when i commit with my builder regarding loan after that sbi manager call me and he told me they can't give loan as my property comes in kalyan so i will have to approach near kalyan with sbi bank only now here i lost my time and commitment with my builder. What is use of e-banking or net banking when branch are not connected with each other how they say that they are connected with each other.

SBI, Kilakarai branch (02223) worst approach with customer, and the branch manager is lack in knowledge on process and procedures. single window process is not applied and also required repeated visits to the branch for completing a transaction.
