[Resolved]  Sun Direct — very poor customer service

Sun Direct DTH service have made a fool of its customers for the last 40 days and I am a victim of the same. Now I feel cheated, fooled, betrayed and fed up with the people. Customer service exe, must have verified my details and given me the complaint nos at least 10 times during this period. Also given the assurances every time I have called up. How can any human being tolerate such indecent attitude.
I must confess and I am fed up, I must advice the promoters to shut this stupid ways. How can an organisation have no contact at higher level other than stereo type answering call centre.
Better behave and show some decency.

I wanted a new Sun direct dth connection. When I called customer care they had given a dealers number. But that mob was switched off for more than 1 day. When I called cus care again they gave some other no. which was invalid number. Then called again and got 3 different numbers.
When called the first number, they asked me to call after 1 hr.
When called the second number, a lady had attended the call and gave somebody elses number and asked me to call that person who did not attend my call.
No response from third person.

The dealers or distributors reponse is very very poor.

Now am really wondering whether I should go for sun direct.
i totally agree with above comment. I had experienced the same. Even i travelled 8 Km from my home to find any available dealer(if any). At least you are lucky to get some answer from customer. I tried for 3 days no one care to attend the call.

I fully echo this observation. The problem with call center contacts, which everyone is facing is you cannot escalate the problem to higher levels. The agents keep hearing (only) to all your problems, but does not deliver results. It is frustrating to proceed further. I have a sunDTH connection and i am fed up with their irresponsibility. I suggest all to avoid sunDTH, at any cost.

I had instaled the dish from the inception. I had encounted number of times to contact the customer service people. The dealer who is selling the recharge cards, used to give some mobile number they never respond properly and simply ask us to contact the ph no.,[protected] which i never get . for the lost few days NO SIGNAL and i am not able to recharge my account. Even i do not know how much balance in my account.
I am also having dish net in my other room for which the service is fentastic and i can call anywhare in india to contact the custemer service representative.
Ocationally if any problom the person will be at door within 6 hours though they commit 24 hrs to clear the problom.

had taken sun dth connectin on[protected], my smart card no R[protected] since 15 days very poor quality some times strucked

from[protected] not working smart card showing E 16 errer on screen all chanels only dd chanen coming remaining showing E16 errorer i tried u r servicce center no not connecting plz rectify our problem and sent to mail my email plz give massage to my mobile no [protected]

our toll free no ringing but no onelifting and other no helpline also not connect ifconnected we receivedrecorded voivce we not able to complant this our problems

TO GET THE LINE I HAVE TO DAIL 100 TIMES..
AFTER THAT I HAVE TO SPEAK 20 MIN

SO MONTHLY CHARGE IS NOT JUST 75 RS 20 + 20 MIN PHONE CALL CHARGE RS 40 + 75.

We are using urs DTH Service in Faridabad since Nov'08. There is a problem with ur setup box, in this issue several times we reminds to ur customer care center local/onsite even though there is no responce from anybody. Now we are not in a position to watch any programmes. I request you to take it as serious and respond immediately.

I am trying to recharge a booster pack for the past 4weeks i didnot get a proper response from the customer care i have never seen such a poor network.
This should be banned i mean Sun dth conning the pooor customers .what else can you expect from the conster politicians like karunanidhi and dayanaindhi maran running this show.bloody mother[censored]ers

i totally agree with all the above customers..i am also the one who is experiencing such problem..i have got a recharge card and trying to activate it by calling customer care for more than 70 times but all the time the numbers were busy and now i am not able to catch up ipl matches..this is a poor show by sun direct..if they want to stay in business they should solve this problem immediately..what is the use of spending such huge amount of money in advertisements when they could not even offer basic service to customers..the amount i paid for recharge card is totally waste now..if you cant provide us the basic service atleast do return us the money we have paid..

Sundirect — Very Poor customer support and services

I was trying to recharge my account in sundirect via SMS and customer care, but there is no response from them.i didn't see any programs since last two days.still i can't recharge becouse of their technical problems.i don't know when they ill solve that problem otherwise i am going to change other best service provider.very very poor service from sundirect.i can't expect from sundirect.

In our area 3 or 4 peoples were through out sundirect.

same thing happening for few days na sundirect will lose their valuable customers.

Please don't got for Sun Direct. Its worst. I can't suggest other DTH since am also looking for a good DTH.

Sun Direct — Very poor customer services

You have to keep on try to contact customer care. Every time i am trying 4 hours then only my call is connecting to customer care. I asked to activate star cricket but they told champians trophy cricket relay in espn so activate that. I activated, after then i came to knew champians trophy cricket relaying in star criket. I asked to lock a complaint against person. But they told it not possible. If any network problem means we have to contact with agent, that agent asking conveyance charge. My connection is in gurgaon.
I am not getting the picture since 4th October 2009 Made complaints several times All my complaints gone to the deaf ears. Pl rectify

Sun Direct DTH — VERY POOR CUSTOMER CARE SERVICE

This has to be easily the most pathetic customer care that i have ever come across in my life. They launch the product w/o having a proper software to help the customers. My scenario is as follows.
I recharged my SUN DIRECT smart card and chose venus pack to be activated after speaking with a CC agent. Venus pack is the one where you get HBO,STAR MOVIES channles. The CC agent told me that it will be activated in a max of 2 hours. Well that was the first promise. The channel was not activated even the next day. I called the CC line . They have 1 toll free no and another line which was not toll-free. The toll free is always blocked bcos of the enormous no of customers calling them. So i had no option but to call the line which was not toll-free.So its even more waste of my money. Well the CC agent told that he will do a master refresh then the channel will be activated. I believed him. The next day it was still not active. Again i patiently called the CC centre. Same respone. Master refresh was done but no go.
Then my friend and myself called them daily. We spoke with three or four floor managers who had all sorts of stories to tell us like the channel activation is still in queue even after 10 days and it will get activated soon. The entire month that particular package was not activated although i paid for that service.
We reached our extreme levels of frustration. Kalanathi Maran should hang himself for providing such poor services.Never believe the cosmetic adds that they put in the tv,its all s***. Worst was yet to come.They got a satellite problem when the FIFA world cup was in the closing stages.Semi-finals match was missed.

Anybody know about the recent failure of SUN DTH. We are not getting the channels even SUN TV. Neo Sports is missing.
My smartcard no. is [protected] and I have a full year subscription for North Shine Pack (Marathi) valid till May 2011. Since 8 July 2010, I am not getting most of the paid channels in the pack with major ones like NDTV Imagine, NDTV Profit, Bloomberg UTV, Star Majha, Zee Talkies, Bindaas and many others. I have made numerous complaints and phone calls including STD calls to Chennai, but to no use. The call center personnel are absolutely useless and helpless. This seems to be a company policy to hoodwind the customer. The company initially said there was a Satellite problem and our subscription would be extended suitably after all channels are restored. But this argument is not more valid as the problem is not being resolved at all. No senior or responsible persons are available either on phone or on mail. One nodal officer for AP, Mr. Merani, does not work for Sun any more though the Sundirect.in web site still indicates him as the nodal officer. I am fed up with all this and I demand my money back including the set top box cost as I need to shift to another DTH operator who is more professinal.
Mr Maran pls note this. I am a very senior defence scientist and will take this matter in all ways in public domain including the legal one.
