Sub: Unauthorised hospital [Ground + 3 floor]construction/Power connection to be denied at No.8, 7th cross street, Rajalakshmi Nagar, Velachery, Chennai 600 042

There is a hospital construction which is happening at the above address violating all the norms viz., huge violation in terms of front and back set backs, additional two floors of violation from the approved plan by the CMDA as well as zero parking inside the building premises. Despite demolition notices issued by CMDA they go about finishing the construction without respecting the authorites. We came to know that they have approached your department for the Power connection and subsequent to that they have erected polls for the transformer. As per the rules and guidelines No Objection Certificate to be obtained from CMDA for the supply of Electricity . How can there be erection of polls for the transformer without obtaining NOC from CMDA when already demolishing notice is issued by CMDA. When they have approval to construct only 10000sq.ft, they have done more than 20, 000sq.ft without adhering to any norms prescribed by CMDA. Hence we request you to stop the Electricity Service Connection to the above Hospital Building.
