Respected Sir,
I am Rajesh travelling from Chengalpattu - Chennai through bus. I work in the night shift and leave from office at 2:30 am daily.
The problem is, It is difficult to find a bus to reach chengalpattu from tambaram, even though there are many buses which goes towards south india during the early morning hours ( from 00:00 to 5:00 )
I can see buses going with only less than 10 passengers but the drivers and conductors hesitate to come into chengalpattu and these buses go via BYPASS. We have to wait more than an hour or two in the busstand to travel to chengalpatttu ( 35 kms town from tambaram).
I see many buses to Kallakurichi and Thiruvannamalai which goes most of the time as empty or with less than 10 passengers on weekdays. The response from the conductors are also very worst. They not even treat as a human being.
This is what i experience for the past 8 months.. The travelling time from chengalpattu to tambaram is only 35 min but we have to wait for more than 2hours.
We didnt request for a seperate bus, we request the concerned transport authorities to issue an order, that the buses must go into chengalpattu town not via bypass. This will be a great relief for many passengers who travel during night time.
The last train to chengalpattu from tambaram is 23:40 and the first train is at 4:50 am only.
I request the concern authorities to solve this issue on priority. Waiting for the positive response.
