Tanishq is a cheat and fraud company. They don't care for their commitments and have a very snob behavior. The have some scheme where a CARD is issued and some points get added on each purchase. These points can be used for getting some discounts after a certain number of points get accumulated on the card. My wife and sister, both have fallen prey to their marketing gimmicks in this scheme. Although they claim to be an all India company and services will be promised to be offered at all stores across India. This is what they say at the time of selling the scheme to you but will come up with all nonsense / silly excuses when you go to claim the promised benefits. (Unuttara scheme, i suppose)

During my marriage my wife (who came from Pune) purchased some jewellery from Mahanagar Lucknow store and wanted to add her points to her existing card. But the buggers at the store tried all trade tactics from name to phone number to city name etc etc. but her existing card could not be traced. Then I called my sister to know her card number. Her card was also not traced despite the fact that her card was issues from LUCKNOW itself. when both of them could not be traced they forced my wife to buy a new card, which I know will not be traceable on her next visit. But then the eternal love for jewellery amongst Indian women is what that keeps this fraud company going. The best part was that the store people kept giving silly excuses for their faults and never cared to apologize.

A SECOND incident happened again at the same store at Mahanagar Lucknow when we had to get some finger ring repaired. The store could not trace its own product despite we telling the proper sale invoice / cash memo number. The excuse this time that the purchase was made from Gomti Nagar Lucknow store so it was not possible to find out the product. So much for an All India - integrated company.

Then we went to their Gomti Nagar, Lucknow store. This store booked our ring for repairing on[protected] and promised to get the repair done in one month. When after two and a half month I called up to enquire its status, no reply was given except that I discovered that the ring was lying at the store itself and never wen to to company workshop for its repairing.

So much so fleecing the customers on TATA reputation. What do gullible people like me do?

Company is a cheat and complete fraud. They only to to sell false promises through orchestrated marketing gimmicks. pls don't buy jewellery from them or fall prey to any of their marketing gimmicks.
