TATA / DoCoMo 3G dongle (e-stick) — Lost money (Rs.2000) in charging and no service | |||
I have a Tata DOCOMO 3g USB dongle for wireless internet (MDN no, [protected]). I had asked for a recharge of Rs 1000 for unlimited download. The retailer recharged for Rs 1001. After which I used the internet. After a download of 1 MB it was disconnected. I called the customer service center and was informed that the Recharge was a special pack and the charges are 1 paise per KB. And they refuse to refund the amount saying its already used up and asked me to do a normal recharge of Rs 1000 to get the unlimited internet access. I recharged for Rs 1000 more and started using. I got disconnected again after using it for less than 3 hrs. This time when I called the customer care, they claimed that this was a for another plan (which is not the unlimited pack i;ve asked for) and that I have used up all the available download limit for that plan. I have raised a complaint with DOCOMO customer care (complaint number 1838269), but they have so far not acted on the complaint and refuse to help me out saying I have used up the download limit. I have lost my Rs 2000 and am left without internet since a week, The tariff plans are not clear enough and they have managed to extract the money without providing me any service.
