[Resolved] Tata Docomo — Marketing calls even after full DND | |||
I have been using Tata Docomo Mobile service since July2012, I activated full DND on my number and it was confirmed the activation only on September 2012. For past few weeks I started getting Marketing calls from +91140.... numbers, some of them says activate your caller tune. I made a complaint to the 1909 customer service, they registered the complaint and no remedies. Whenever I call them and request to connect to a Senior/Manager to know the status on the complaint, they pretend they are connecting to a Senior/Manager and I keep holding the line for 10-15 minutes and call gets disconnected automatically. I presume this is a deliberate act by Tata Docomo 1909 customer service, because it happened few times exactly the same way. I would like to go with a legal action against the following: 1) After activating full DND I started receiving marketing calls. As per TRAI regulation each first call/message after full DND Rs: 5000 and following calls/message Rs: 20000 has to be paid. As per the marketing calls I received it will be about 1 x 5000 + 15 x 20000 (Rs: 3,05000). 2) Being a full paid customer of the Tata Docomo Mobile Network, I am not receiving a proper customer service from the Network Provider, who deliberately ignores the customers calls/requests or even shown courtesy to call back to acknowledge the status of the complaint.
