Tata Indicom Broadband - Worst Service

I did the biggest mistake of my life taking a Tata Indicom Broadband connection.

The problems started from the very first day I filled up the Application form. I was told that we will get the connection within 10 days of filling the application which never happened. After numerous calls and numerous emails to the customer care, finally got the Broadband Connection after 1.5 months. It worked fine for initial few days. Then the problems began again.

Since 25th April I am unable to connect to the Broadband service. I have been calling them almost everyday since then but to no avail. They don't have any value for other person's time, money and efforts. I am really annoyed by their service. The first level of support always begins from the same point. Despite telling them that it's the old problem I am referring to, they again start taking some values and then when they find the values all right, they transfer the call to the Network Management Team. Then begins the wait. Now either they have shortage of staff or most of the people are facing some or the other problem, we always have to hold for more than 45 minutes atleast before the call gets connected. It is really annoying and frustrating holding the call for so long and listening to the wait music. Once I asked the first level guy to connect to his supervisor, again I was put on hold for 45 minutes and the call never got transferred. It is the worst service I have faced.

Finally on 06th May a field engineer came to my premises and he changed the static IP and did some backend settings and the Internet was up. But only for as long as he was there. Once he left my place, the internet stopped working and my calls and holding the phone started again.

I am very disappointed with something which is associated with such big name like Tata.

I am not sure how to get it rectified and even if it works for me, I am sure there will be many people like me who will keep suffering from such poor service.

I hope this issue is highlighted in the right forum and somebody takes an action on it.

TATA Indicom — TATA INDICOM - THE MOST WORST SERVICE

For my renewal of internet connection, excess of actual renewal charges had been
debited from my account. For my THREE MONTHS Package, one of the authorised
preferred distributor had collected a sum of Rs.3, 403 instead of actual amount of Rs.2403
from my cheque dated[protected] which was presented to CANARA bank Tnagar
branch on[protected] for realisation and the same was confirmed to have been
credited in the SARASWATHY AGENCIES account being operated in CANARA bank.

We're extremely sorry to point out that while presenting cheque, it could be
recorded in payment chellan as Rs.3403 instead of Rs.2403, being the actual renewal
charges payable to VSNL net connection.

This is utter negligence on the part of the TATA INDICOM's above agency while
presenting cheque which had resulted in excess payment from my account!

Inspite of my repeated request, no tangible action seems to have been taken at their
level for refund of my Rs.1000/- .
I AM STILL WAITING FOR THE REFUND MONEY!

I FEEL TATA INDICOM IS ONE OF THE MOST WORST SERVICE!!

TATA INDICOM!-- GOODBYE TO YOU!!-- NEVER AGAIN!!!
Even I also got the legal notice even though I paid all my dues. Even after they have taken the equipments from my home, I got the bill for next two months. After calling and mailing 100 times to their customer care, at last they sent mail saying that no amount is due on my account, but after one year I got the legal notice.
The reason for me for disconnecting the Tata Indicom was wrong billing. They were charging for the calls which I have not made. Tata Indicome is worst telecom service in the world.
