[Resolved]  Tata Indicom — Complaint against Cheating and Harassment caused by TATA Indicom

I am filing this complaint on behalf of JLJ Concept School, Palwal. We had 5 connections with Tata Indicom - 1 mobile, 1 wireless fixed phone and 3 data cards. Our account number is[protected].

In the month of June 2010, one of the data cards with the number [protected] was misplaced by us. Our PRO registered the loss in person with the Tata Indicom dealer in Palwal - Om Sai Technologies. Mr. Chandresh at the dealer office ([protected],[protected] registered our request for discontinuation of the said data card.

In July, the bill was again raised alongwith the charges for the misplaced data card even after the request for discontinuation had been made. We were then requested to contact your Palwal Zone Manager, Mr. Sandeep ([protected]). He said he will do something in this regard.

No action was taken. We also contacted Tata Indicom's North Zonal Manager, Mr. Pillai ([protected]). He also made promises that he will look into the matter.

Since then every month the bill is raised with the charges for the lost data card. Tata Indicom people at the Palwal office tell us to deposit the amount minus the charges for the lost modem. When we do that, all our phones and data cards are disconnected by Tata Indicom. This has happened in August as well as September. We are tired of visiting the Tata Indicom Palwal Dealer every month. Tata Indicom is charging us for the data card that is lost, that too for the last four months and we are forced to make the payments because otherwise our phones are disconnected. THIS KIND OF CHEATING IS NOT EXPECTED FROM A COMPANY OF THEIR STATURE.

This time when the bill was raised on 22nd September we again visited Mr. Chandresh at Palwal Office. He again advised us to pay the amount minus the data card rental. Now all our phones have been disconnected on 30th September 2010. Tata Indicom has caused our school a lot of inconvenience. Parents are not able to contact us. Neither are we able to call anyone. Internet has also been suspended. UNLESS SOMETHING IS DONE ABOUT IT IN THE NEXT 48 HOURS WE ARE GOING TO LODGE A FORMAL COMPLAINT IN THE CONSUMER COURT.

TATA Indicom — harassment and cheating

i had taken a sim,which i was using in my data card which i got disconnected a year back,and i asked for the refund of my security deposit,but instead they kept on sending bills my complete security was wip[ed out,and then one day the sent a recovery agent,i had a fight with him,but i gave him the cheque took a recipt and on the recipt,,i made him mention that this is the final payment,but even after that,the are still sending the bill.
