[Resolved]  TATA Indicom Plug 2Surf — Bad connectivity and poor customer service

Dear Tata Indicom Team,

This is to very regretfully inform you that inspite of the few mails sent a few months back the standards of your service have dropped even further down in the past couple of weeks.

Now I am unable to even access sites like Gmail, or Google, as stated earlier pages take several minutes to load and session gets disrupted number of times. To add to the woes of a customer, your telephone helplines are always busy or not reachable. Kindly take some time to answer my below queries:

Why does your esteemed company advertise a network speed of 256 KBPS when it cannot deliver the same in a city like mumbai?

Despite repeated mails from highly unsatisfied customers why hasnt something been done to resolve this issue and if something has been done then why arent there any results?

Please let me know what are the minimum service standards (if any) that have been committed by your company for Plug to sur[censored]sers.

Also the so called 'Speed Plus' Software which is supposed to increase the network speed actually worsens the performance. Some of your representatives said that it is not compatible with Windows since it is disrupted by windows firewall. Please let mek know why does your company recommend the use of a product which is incompatible with the most commonly used Operating system in India.

I would really appreciate if I can get a satsfactory answer to my questions as well as a resolution to my problem.

sir i'm the user of your internet i'm finding more problems i dont know if it is a modem problem or your problems that speed plus doesn't work it tells that optimizing i dont even have your phone no i hope u will send your phone no & the solution to the given id
Very poor performance, very low net accesing speed, unable to brouse any web
very low speed... i cant rate more the 0 out off 10 to his TATA INDICOM net servise... its entier waste of time to brouse with TATA INDICOM MODEM... never invest in TATA SERVISE that too on this TATA USB MODEM... for students like us realience or bsnl networks takes 6 to 8 hours to complet our entier project but this TATA network takes 2 days... m repenting takin TATA usb modem... n this speed pluse which the company guys says it will speed up ur net servise, is a dammi softwere it connects 5 to 10 min only in 2 hours off brousin... GOD HELP TATA NET SERVISE...
I have been using the usb modem for about a year and was satisfied by it. But from the past three weeks it is terrible. Unable to access any mail, gmail, yahoo, and many many other sites. The modem has become a totally useless piece of plastic right now!
plz, send spead plus softwear
India is place where there are people want to cheat directly or indirectly. Why should the big companies be behind in this game of cheating? by misguiding the public and making high tariff of net sur[censored]sing Plug2Surf Tata is just cheating the public for very very poor service.
I do request to our lawer collegues to file a complaint in consumer forum in the regard of standards for these Dial up and Broad band services in INDIA, as a fraud with customer...
any one no open saed thish broad band services why?????????????????//

dear sir,
i am using tataindicom last 1 year as modem for internet access. now a days minimum 1 month
connectivity is very very poor. every 5 minutes surfing disconecting where broadband networking
doing will. so why tata indicom not doing well.

I used plug2sirf but its speed is very slow and i check its speed in speedometer as your suggesition but my problem is not solved
Since last one week(13.5.09 to till date my inter net connection (USB, modem)no [protected] is not functioning .I have tried to logde complain to local customer care at Dhanbad but no body is responsing which is not expected from a good service provider like Tata Indicom..Please gt my problem solved..

the connection is always dropped in intervals of 10, 20, 30 minutes. the speed is very poor most of the time and the download speed is alsovery low. my modem no is [protected]. please get my problem solved.
this is ksrmurty having used the usb modem form wo years . Know it is very slow in connectiety and also not showing the signals at the window TX.

I find that here if a fesility to up date the technology to this connection.

I request you to advise, please arrange the usb modem to up-date technology on net when we connect to net.
It is also advised the antivirus technology to remove the virus form usb modem will be provided to get fast .

some times it is automatically shut downs automatically may please be rectified.
Very very poor connectivity. Does not connect at all, in places like central kanpur, Moti Bagh New Delhi, Nerul Navi Mumbai, Jodhpur etc etc. Tatas should wake up to to survive.
I AGREE ABOUT THIS COMPLAINT . BECAUSE I ALSO HAVEING PROBLEM
IN TATA INDICOM USB MODEM . THERE IS NO SPEED FOR TATA INDICOM
USB. IT TAKES TOO MANY TIMES TO MAKE ONE BILL.FROM BARAMATI
TATA INDICOM SERVICE CENTER HAS NOT GIVING FULL SERVICE FOR US.
WHEN I COMPLAINT THEM LAST 2 MONTHS AGO .STILL NOW I HAVE NOT
GETTING THE SERVICE TO US .
