[Resolved]  TATA MOTORS/INDICA DLS — Defective Product and Poor Service

I have bought a Tata Indica DLS fron HIM Motors Peeragarhi.The car use to create a lot of problem since its early days.
The car has following problem since start :

1. Poor Pickup.
2. Poor Mileage.
3. The car has never passed a PUC test till date.
4. Excessive engine sound.

I complaint against all these during my visit at workshop at the time of servicing.They repaired the F.I.P to resolve these problems.Surprising it never resolved the problem .Finally the CSM asked to replace the F.I.P.
The problem where resolved partially by the change but soon after these problem reappeared.

I tried a different dealer (Dhingra Motors) and reported these problems.Initially the problem was not resolved . When I complaint to Tata Motors customer care,they again tested the vehicle and told that there is problem in the engine.

This is rediculous .The problem was there since the start of the vehicle and it was only diagonosed when it ran 20000 Km and that too on my continous complaints.

It is very surprising that "Tata" has not able to maintain its standards.How a vehicle can get a problem on 20000 Km run.

Not only that after overhauling of the engine the problem were not resolved yet.Now after the repairing of the engine there are lot of problem in the vehicle.These are as below :

1> Pick up of the vehicle is completely lost.
2> There are lots of noise from the engine.
3> The engine stops suddenly with some sounds.
4> The vehicle has got some starting problem.


Above all the vehicle has still not passed the PUC test.

The Tata Motors customer support is pathetic.No body is responsible enough to look into the problem of customer.The Customer Support Manager are there just to fill the post. Even after my continuous chase ,they are not respoding.

I just hope that the complaint will be heard by some of the Tata Motors senior officials.
