[Resolved]  The Lottery Department Bmw — Fake e-mail on behalf of BMW

Dear Sir,

This is to inform you that I have received the following e-mail of Lottery on behalf of BMW, a reputed organisation.

You are requested to confirm that this is the true e-mail or faking by BMW name. This is the question about the reputation of BMW Automobiles. It has a famous level of BMW not in India but also all over the World. If you feel this is fake then please take a strong legal action against these types of Senders.

sir, i don't know what to say, but little confused and shocked when i got a message from BMW donation declaring that i am a winner of 500000 pounds and a 2007 model saloon BMW car.so when i looked at it i was happy. But when i opened "[protected]@live.com, I read there that i was randomly selected from world wide web. My ticket no, serial no, reference no, also given on this site. it pointed another thing is that u win 1 million pounds and a BMW car. so contact your nearly show room and send mail them about yr. ticket no, serial no. and reference no too. You w'l send us mail about yr. address. So my meant is this is real information conveyed to me on my cellphone no.[protected] by sending message or someone tricked me or played a game in the name of yr.world wide company .so please give me information it's a fraud or a matter of fake or they intend to make money out o[censored]s. I saw an address of BMW company, london.so pls. if it's a true story then tell me how would it possible for me to get winning 500000 pounds and the process of release a car from any showroom. I don't know what to do.I don't have faith on such scheme why somebody select us from 1000000 e-mail ids .I was one of the happiest when i came to know by sms and by looking into that e-mail id of BMW donation. So it will be really given away to the winners. Even they say that Our company is spread worldwide. You can get your winning car from any showroom by sending them mail. If they are on the way to befool people then why don't to take action and drag them to court. b, coz everybody knows about yr. company. when they have got messages like it what there first reaction is that this is from Bmw company. so take everything into granted. I even sent mail to London. It's very surprised to me that you have got plenty of mails then you are actionless. i got the same email from the BMW Group. Isnt this some type of fraud on BMW's part? If they are not involved and not liable, then why aren't they taking action against the parties using their company name and misrepresentation of themselves as being apart of their comapny? What is BMW doing about this?
