[Resolved]  Titan — Serious concern with Titan EDGE

Hi,

My Father in law recently bought one Titan Edge watch for me and gifted me.As the belt was long hence I went to nearby Titan showroom at Shyambazar to cut it short. When I showed them the watch along with the warranty card and bill they informed me that the belt is not Titan manufactured. They also told me that the store(details given below) from which my Father in law has bought the product, they have replaced the original belt with a local one hence the Titan logo is not appearing in the existing.

I was taken by surprise when I got to know about this. Being a Tata employee I always prefer to buy Titan watches. However the stores selling such products are actually hampering the brand image of Tata.I am sure that company is not aware of such incidents which is happening in the market and hence I would like to bring this issue in management's notice.

For common people, Tata is also known as "TRUST"and if such situation arises to any one of them then where the Trust factor will go? Due to cheap activities done by some local stores,the overall Tata brand image is going to be at stake.I strongly believe that Titan should ensure quality and service commitment before issuing licence to any store to sell their products.

Could you please look into this issue and help me resolving the same at the earliest.
