[Resolved] TNSTC Coimbatore Division — Irresponsible Behaviour by driver and conductor
Sir, I am John Joson J from Bangalore. I went to the Satellite Bus stand in Bangalore to see off my Aunt and my cousin who had come over to my place for the holidays. They were on their way to Gudalur on the bus which was scheduled to leave by 23:30 to OOTY. we were there by 22:40 PM. The conductor said the bus will leave by 23:30. As we were waiting the conductor of the bus switched off the lights in the bus and said the driver was drunk and the bus will start only by 5:30 in the morning. I informed the conductor that i will file a complaint. During this time the driver in Lungi (an attire worn in South India when you go to sleep) came drunk and asked what was happening and the conductor pulled him away. I called the TNSTC Coimbatore division # listed online[protected]. I told the person on the other end about what was happening. He took a note of the information provided and also asked me to submit a written complaint addressed to the General Manager - TNSTC coimbatore division. Then the conductor came out after sometime and said the bus will move by 00:00 AM. There were 6 passengers in the Bus. The bus finally moved by 00:50 AM. The Bus # TN 38 N 1486. The Bus Driver Name Govindan (i dont know if it is true as it was given by the Conductor). Thanks & Regards, John Joson J Cell# : [protected] Home #:[protected]. Was this information helpful?

Given enough training, carrot reward for good behavior, stick treatment for bad behavior, I am sure along with so many TN passengers, these species could be changed to behave better to give at least better than average performance.
Till then the passengers are requested to tune to the DANUKUNAKKA dance of these DANDANAKKA buses. Jai Hind!
